while this fan is of nice quality, I feel it is more of a $20 fan at most. I don't know when the "vortex" feature kicks in but this thing barely blows air, and in no way "circulates" air throughout the room. A very mild heat at the most. I dont know what all the good reviews are all about, but this fan is going to be returned.

Shipping was good. Took it out of the box and plugged it in. Turn it on and the heater goes on but not the fan. Turned it off and on again, still no fan on any settings. I got pist and unplugged it. Then i got a small stick and turned the fan manually. Then i plugged it back in and turned it on and it worked. After a few minutes of that new heater smell, it worked fine. Fan has a nice speed, but it could be a little better. also, i would not leave this on unattended. UPDATE. Finding this product isn't as bad as i thought. It has an auto tip over shut off switch. Also heats up my small kitchen well on low. It hasn't been freezing cold yet to really run a good test on it, but i will update it when it does get colder.

The weather began to cold, need to buy one, because I have a 2 year old daughter 👧. I bought this one because it will automatically turn off if it is knocked down/knocked over (because there is a button under the base of the machine), so this is an important feature for me. I wasn't sure how good it would be at first, but honestly, it works! I was surprised to find that the cold wind from it was also very cool! I tried a warm breeze and it came out quickly. Great 👍, I recommend to my friends!

I bought this unit because the description mentioned its use in the bathroom. When it arrived, I read the instruction booklet, only to find it specifically says not to use it in areas like the laundry room or the bathroom. I am using it in the bathroom anyway, setting it only on the the lower of the two heat settings. I also take up the bathmat and move the outer shower curtain to the inside of the tub. Just before showering, with the room already preheated, I turn the heater off so I can put down the tub mat. A lot of fussing around to try to make it safer.

So far so good. I keep it under my desk by my feet at work. I was using an older model Pelonis that belonged to a coworker and this one is a little larger but much quieter. I use it on the lowest heat setting which is perfect for me. I haven't tried the fan option yet. Would recommend.

This is a small desk size heater that does a good job of heating. My only complaint is that because it uses forced air (wind) to push out the heat, it can dry out my eyes a bit when using it. You'll likely want to sit close enough that the air will reach you, otherwise it will take a bit for it to heat a large room. That said, it's very quiet, has high and low settings, and can also be used in the summer as just a fan which is nice.

I use this heater to help keep my garage from freezing. Actually keeps it from freezing on low setting. Low fan speed low heat setting. Just what I wanted. When in there working I put it on high heat and fan. It takes a bit but actually gets warm. Seems to be well built, good fan. This is not a blaster of heat. Just a low steady circulating warmth.

The heater does a good job of warming the room up. The fan works well too. Something important to note though, the fan only blows at low speed when the heat is on, so this will not be what you want if you need a higher air output for the heater.

I got this to quickly warm up my home office on cold winter mornings and to double as a small fan in the summer. It works well in both capacities. It's a bit bigger than I was expecting, as its front is 10" across. But this lets it move more air with less noise. It's pretty quiet. I tried a cheap heater before getting this one that had several problems: it smelled, it was noisy, its cheap modular fan started making scraping noises, its handle and controls were very unergonomic, its power cable heated up, and its low-heating mode simply turned off half of the heating element but still moved air through it, which made half the air coming off it hot and half cold, which is unpleasant.This unit fixes all of those problems. It had a little bit of a "new heater" smell initially when heating, but that's pretty much gone after a couple of days. I tested it with a Kill-A-Watt power meter, and it delivers the 1500 and 900 watts of heating that it promises. As 1500 watts is the maximum allowed in North America, this unit will heat a room as well as any other 1500-watt heater, since all resistive-electric heaters are 100% efficient (all of the energy consumed ends up as heat). It moves a lot more air than smaller heaters, and in high-speed fan mode, it moves as much air as a small fan. This unit uses a dedicated, real fan and motor. This model lacks a couple of features that other people might find important: it has no thermostat, so it will just keep heating until it's turned off, and it doesn't oscillate.
