Works great........Easy Installation
I initially purchased 4 of these lights to be installed on my wood fence next to my driveway. Every one worked as advertised and went from dim to brighter when you got within six to eight feet. Simple installation since the fixture and mounting bracket are separate. Allows you to easily pop the fixture loose to used as portable lighting. Where I live we get frequent hail storms so I can easily pop them off to get them out of harms way. I liked them so much I purchased 4 more. And then I purchased 3 more and then purchased another 3. Lights charge even with cloudy skies and every single one of mine last throughout the night. I couldn't be more satisfied. I've only had these for a couple of months so I'll update my review at 6 months or as needed.Jan 5, 2016 UpdateIn March it's going to be 2 years since I purchased 14 of these lights. I have 8 installed down the length of my wood privacy fence which runs beside my long driveway. I also have 3 more attached above my garage door. Installation couldn't be easier. With the bracket that holds the light housing all you need to do is attach the brackets where you want them. Then the fixture with the 25 LEDs and the large solar panel just slides right into the bracket. If you need a quick light source hey just easily pop right out of the bracket. There re several different options with the light functions. Mine are set to be on the dim mode when the sun goes down and to stay on all night in that mode. But when the motion sensor is triggered on a light (range 6-8 feet) the light automatically switches to high mode for 30 seconds and those 25 LEDs light things up pretty well. Even in the low mode they still keep my driveway well lighted. With ground LED lights n the opposite side of my driveway it looks like a runway approach. The 3 over my garage door keep that area well lit and it's nice if I go outside at night through the 16' garage door they turn on high as the door just begins to move. I keep my car in the garage but my black pick-up stays in the driveway. It used to disappear on a dark night. Now it stays constantly lit. Here's the kicker. I figured I'd have to replace one every 6-8 months making it kind of pricey. But the paperwork says they will average 500 cycles with each day being a cycle. That's about 1.4 years and I assumed 500 was a best case scenario if you lived at the equator. I'm 2 months shy of two years right now and none of them show any sign they're nearing the end of their life cycle. Every one of my lights still stay on throughout the night even during the short winter days. I've only seen them not stay on on two occasions. Both were when we had an extremely thick and low cloud cover. When I first installed these lights they came on the first night after the first charging day. All of them operated in the mode I had programmed them for and they've continued to work every night since. I had purchased 3 extras for when thy finally peter out but I've not had to replace a single one so far. They've been through rain, lightning, heavy hail, high wind and even the occasional snowfall. The one caveat you need to keep in mind. You can't install the lights where there's too little direct sunlight. Mine get about 8 hours of sun in summertime and much less during the winter. But I can't praise these lights enough. A zero failure rate over a 2 year period is excellent as far as I'm concerned.December 2017 UpdateMy first of 14 lights went dark after 2 1/2 years and the second one went out at about 2 3/4 years. The other 11 or 12 are now just 2 months shy of making 3 full years which would be about 1,095 cycles. Well past their claimed lifespan of 500 cycles. Plus they’re $6.00 cheaper a piece than what I initially paid. And they still burn dusk until dawn even during the winter months.

Nice Solar light source, but a little bit smaller than I thought it would be.
This is a well made product, and does what it says it will do. You can set the light to come on manually, by ambient lighting and by motion. It is easy to install, and seems to work just fine. The reason I deducted stars off of my rating is that the lights aren't nearly as bright as I thought they would be. Maybe one of the reasons is that I cannot place them directly above the door, or the Solar panel would never get sun light. So I had to place them approximately 15 feet away from the door in order to capture sun light. But I would still expect it to light up our car port a little better than it does. It is also smaller than it appeared to be in the advertisement, unless the ad was using two or three of them together. But this is a good product, and it does do what they say it will do. It does provide enough light to get your keys out, and unlock your door. So I would recommend this to others.

Very good solar light, but Motion RE-triggering functionality is poor
I have the 25 LED and the 16 LED versions of these lights. They provide a Dim output, and a Bright output when triggered by it's motion sensor. The amount of Bright light is very good, the solar cells do a fine job of charging the internal batteries, and the overall design is stylish.I gave them only three stars due to how the Motion RE-trigger operates. The light is normally dim at night, until it is triggered by motion. It then turns Bright for 30-40 seconds, then ALWAYS turns Dim. If you are under the light, it will Re-trigger and turn Bright only after 2-3 seconds of Dim light. So, if you are in motion under the sensor, the pattern will be 30 seconds Bright, 3 seconds Dim, 30 seconds Bright, 3 seconds Dim, ... I would have preferred that the light remain Bright as long as there is motion under it's sensor, and then go Dim 30-40 seconds after the motion goes away.

It mounts easily. The directions are on a very small folded ...
This is a very bright light when motion is detected and the "dim" mode is bright enough to see clearly. I ordered this unit to light up an area of my yard that is very dark at night and is on the back side of my house. It mounts easily. The directions are on a very small folded piece of white slick paper with tiny, tiny print( maybe 2 or 3) point and unreadable for those who wear glasses. This makes no sense as there is ample room in the package for a full size sheet if needed. This unit mounts at 90 degrees so the lighted area is not utilized fully. A 120 degree mount would add significantly more lighted area.

Well recommended, excellent overall lamp when used in the battery saving motion sensing mode.
Pros: Bright, widely diffused light when on bright. Dim mode is bright enough to see where you are going. Dim mode lasts all through the night, even after an overcast daytime. Attractive, easy to mount housing. Motion sensing works nicely.Cons: I was confused by the instructions, the lamp is either bright with less runtime or dim with temporary bright after motion sensed. While the removable feature allows easier settings change, the pinhole settings are not to my liking. The acronym CDS is unexplained. I assume it is refers to CdS photoresistor but is referred to as a setting. (???) No dim only mode without motion detection.

Almost perfect
This is an excellent product except for two flaws. One, the switch to turn it on requires a special tool, or a piece of metal as thin as a needle to turn it on and off. Secondly when the motion detector is on, it only has a dim and bright setting. In other words if you use the motion detector the light is always on. The good news is that the solar panel is very efficient so although you are diminishing the battery life, you don't have to replace batteries until the lithium cell finally dies out. And this unit recharges quickly. This super bright light is excellent for camping, or for use during a power outage.
