So far so good. You need to cut the cable, it’s looped. Seems to be good sealed but I wouldn’t bet on that it is 100% waterproof. Good for my purpose (12V kids car) but if you use that somewhere where it could be submerged, not sure.

This fuse / fuse holder comes with a 30 amp fuse. The 12 AWG aluminum wire is a loop that you have to cut to be able to use.In my solar system situation, I replaced the 30 amp fuse with a 15 amp per manufacture recommendations. I would give a 5 starrating if the wire had been copper instead of aluminum.

This is an excellent inline fused wire. Although the description says that the 30A fuse is not included, mine did come with one (and it was new in packaging). I used this to install a battery into a Peg Perego (kids John Deere tractor) and it works great.

Had to cut it and splice it into the charge controller postive going to the battery. They could have left the wire open to it can be spliced into the charge controller wire.

was just a little short you cut the wire it loops in one side of fuse to other side but total wire was only 3in so you may have to cut so one side is longer than the other and then splice in more wire to the shorter side

Not a whole lot to say about some wire and a plastic holder, except that is very well made and very sturdy. It would be very good for heavy duty use. It has been under the hood of my car for quite a while now and it is still in good shape.
