We just received it and set it up tonight. WOW it is awesome. We had purchased another one and were very disappointed as it did not look like a real fire.. really bad.. When I saw this one I jumped on it and we are very happy. It was easy to install, and the flames are very lifelike and the colors are great.Thanks

Could always use more color combinations-but it is aesthetically soothing and warms up 400 sq ft area well. Could be easier to control temperature-several remote 'clicks' required to program in the temp wanted-you'll need to count out the clicks and hope its set up correctly-remote doesnt show the temperature in numbers.I attached a directional heat register to the bottom where the heat blows out so heat is directed out to the room vs. heating the wall.

Worked great when I first received it. After a couple hours on the heater it shuts of after about 10 minutes and won't reset unless you power off the unit for 30 minutes and then only runs for 10 minutes and fails again. Very poor quality, do not buy this to install, you just have to rip it out after a couple days.2/4/2020 Update: Have attempted to contact TURBO support for help. All communications have gone unanswered. The unit is still broken, TURBO is stonewalling me and now the return period has elapsed. I have purchased my last high dollar item through Amazon.UPDATE 4/5/2020: Well after several back and forth emails with TURBRO I am still looking at a bad fireplace. They had me do all the troubleshooting again even had me record a video of the issue that was extensive and still....and STILL they ask me "Can you send us a pic of the heater shield installation". They can see it in the video, you can't mount the fireplace to the stand if the shield is not on it correctly. All they are doing is keep asking me to do stuff until I get feed up and give in. Well, they succeeded. I encourage you NOT TO BUY large high dollar electronic items on Amazon. After looking around I have found better fireplaces for the same or less money at local stores. At this point I'm out the $200 I spent on this, thanks once again Amazon for nothing.

Updated review: Purchased March 2019. November 2022 no longer heats and makes noise when it tries. Looks great but I expected more use from the heating component for the price.Original review: I was really concerned that the window was too narrow, and it is narrow but it’s ok. The lights on the side are a feature you don’t find a lot in this price point. A definite value for the money. I never want to leave the room we installed it in. Much to my surprise we used the white face and it is beautiful. I’m more pleased with this purchase that hardly anything I’ve bought. I love that we can enjoy just the lights without the fan and it’s completely silent. We installed mid spring so we have no need for the heat and I can’t speak to how that works but it’s super relaxing and I’m thrilled.

We bought Turbo for the heat which is somewhat disappointing. However, if you use the crystals/cobblestones it's a very attractive wall hanging. Forget the imitation logs - the jig's up.

This electric fireplace heater has a design flaw. The air intake is on the front facing side and right underneath is the opening where the heated air is vented. The intake vent has a sign that says “do not cover” , meaning do not cover the intake vent. Well... it turns out that the front face frame, or glass front as they call it, when installed it does exactly what the sign says not to do. The heater quits after a few minutes (no more than 5 mins) and then it won’t work. I removed the frame glass front and then the heater works like a charm all day long. I did hang it on the wall and no obstructions underneath where heat comes out. It’s such a shame because it’s a good looking fireplace with a design flaw. See pics.Update: I took the plate/louvers the covers the heater fan and it can stay ventilated without overheating and shutting down the heat. plate had 10 screws easy to remove. I'm changing the rating to 4 stars since I'm keeping it, I really like it but had to go through some troubles to make it work. see thew last 3 pics.

We added this to our living room. Really puts out a lot of heat. Had nothing but compliments from everyone who sees it.
