The Effective Public Manager: Achieving Success in Government Organizations

The book is extremely interesting if you are a public sector worker, particularly a New York City worker and resident. I would recommend this read to all Public Managers and feel this is a helpful book to store in HR.

Don't get me wrong I love the option of renting rather than purchasing the book but there is quite a few highlightings throughout the book in different colors. As long as I don't get denied to return the book, I am ok with it.

One of the best Public Management texts available. My professor used this text in a Public Admin class last year and I constantly find myself referring back to it.
