Solid Brass 10" x 3" Georgian Letter Plate

flush with the plate.as the spring and bar stands proud, i found that my 20 x 4.0 hole was not large enough and that of course meant that it could not be used. the bar wouldn;t allow it space wise. as i recall the measurement is 20 and a 5.8 high hole had to be made.the attachment for the bolts also stand proud so have to be counter sunk. so in other words, it doesnt have a frame.nice looking, solid, shame.really could do with more information on the rear fittings, depth of the plate etc. this was a waste of money for me.

These are very thin in parts, and if you do not take care fitting you will end up putting dimples in the front behind the threaded holes for the fixing screws. Make sure you drill your holes accurately and do not tighten the screws too much!
