Extends acrylic life, but strange palette fit.
As the other users have said, the product is amazing in maintaining acrylic paint - especially when you've gone through the hassle of mixing the perfect color. However, my only qualm is that the palette inside is warped and doesn't perfectly fit the container it comes in. This may be the simply the product I received, but placing palette paper pads works as well.

This product is not 12X16!
This product is not 12X16!It is 11X15.If you have a disposable pallet that is the standard 12X16, it will not fit.Oddly, it even says 12X16 on the actual package, but I am sitting here with ruler in hand... it is 11X15and my 12X16 pallet pad does not fit by any means.Returning. :(

Didn't realize it was cracked until too late.
I set up the palette according to instructions. Was disappointed to find edge of bottom tray was cracked. Not going to return it because I need it now. Very disappointed. Need better quality control.Update! Contacted Masterson. They were more than wonderful. Replaced item, no questions asked. I love them!!! Since I didn't order from them directly, I don't theink the lack of quality control was on their part.

Wonderful!
Absolutely great! I am new to painting (two months), and the first month and a half I was getting frustrated with the acrylic paints drying too soon. I felt that I had to paint really quickly or lose blobs of paint every time. With this product I don't have to do that anymore. It is much more relaxing now that I can keep paint and mixed paints for days!. I am truly impressed with this product.

Does Not Fit Together
The concept and idea work, but this product does NOT fit together the plastic bottom and top is warped. Considering how food storage plastic products snap together well and air tight you would think this manufacturer would do the same here with his product.

Perfect for acrylics
Wish I had bought this years ago.I would have saved a lot of paint and remixing errors! Even if the cover is left off it says moist for several hours.I painted en plein air,which I would never even attempt with acrylics prior to this purchase.

I love this palette!!
I used another type of palette previously and it just wasn't large enough. I love the space I have with this and it keeps the paints moist for such a long time. I love it!
