Set up with appropriate equipment and fordo not put too many fish - I use for 1 Betta
Love this little tank. Am not using the center piece as I only have one betta and he loves loves loves his home!!! Add a small amount of gravel (only enough to cover bottom and have a couple small mounds), definitely a small slim heater (Marina Compact Heater), small pump (Hygger Quiet Mini Air Pump), a small round immersable mini Cylinder Soft Sponge filter (XINYOU XY-2835), a light (not to be left on all day and night becaise it will stress your fish!). ONE native betta leaf, small Luffa Balls or two medium, and you will have a Very happy fish. Initially I slowed the amount of air the mini pump put out by clampimg it and gradually built up the flow to full. My Betta appreciated that. Gradual so as not to stress the fish. Also watched to make sure my fish was not getting sucked against the filter sponge XINYOU XY-2835 (he was healthy and strong so it didn’t). Went away for 3 days. Fish was not feeling well when I returned....NEVER GIVE THEM VACATION FEEDING TABLETS!!! MADE ”Fyn” the Fish very sick. Due to Fyn’s weak condition he would let the small filter hold him against it. I immediately did a regular change, took filter out and put small air stone in instead. Turned down the air flow, encouraged my lil guy to swim JUST A LITTLE and talked to him (loves verbal stimulation). A little more than a day later I did a complete tank clean including gravel. Day 3 Fyn is still not eating and is lethargic. Added med tablet to water and immersable filter watching that Fyn doesn’t intentionally lay against it. Day 4 slight difference. Day 5 I’m feeling good. Swimming more. Still not eating tho. Not even blood worms. He attempts to but no cigar. Fyn’s looks like we may be down the home stretch if only he will eat. He is stronger and swimming well.. Still isn’t eating however I am tempting him with blood worms. The feeding tablet really messed him up. FYI - just learned - a healthy Betta can go for several days without food - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING THAT. Skipping a day a week might be ok. ALSO, Betta’s love a little daily attention. One way to do that can be during feeding time. Drop 1-2 pellets in at a time. After your fish eats the first two, drop a couple more a little farther away making sure your fish see’s the food. Fun and healthy for both of you. Make 2 minutes for you and your fish. You’ll be glad you did.

Perfect for College Dorms!
I bought these tanks to take my bettas in college with me, I really enjoy these tanks because they are sturdy, sleek and compact. I bought two of them for each of my bettas because I've had issues with divided tanks in the past. Some people will say that a 1 gallon isn't enough or that it's too hard to clean and keep ammonia down. But I have had no issue whatsoever. My fish have a good amount of room to swim around, spread their fins and flare. I tested my water every day for a month and did 100% water changes every five days and my ammonia never even reached .50ppm. A one gallon tank like this can be a good home if you use a water conditioner that neutralized ammonia and keep up with your water changes. With all these good things, I do see 3 issues with this tank. 1) the top is solid glass and doesn't have any holes in it for air or feeding. I simply position the top so there is a gap for air to get it. 2) Though I don't use the divider, there is nothing to secure it in place at the bottom of the tank, you'd have to use gravel to help hold it in place. 3) the divider is clear glass. Some males will exhaust themselves to death trying to fight each other through the glass. All in all, this is a great product for the price.

Just received.
I just got my product and I am so excited about it. It is so cute and the rocks and decorations that I am putting in it will just make it that much cuter. there is only one thing that i don't understand about it. It has a glass divider which is great as I have 2 bettas and we know what Betta's do when they are together and there is the divet on the top of the tank to slide the glass divider in and you can see the divet at the bottom of the tank where it is supposed to slide in ther but the glass is on top of the divet so you can access that divet to finish the slide and secure the divider? Kind of weird. It appears that all is sealed so it can't be accessed. If anyone has figured out something that don't know, let me know =) I am hoping that when I put the rocks and water in it that is won't move back and forth all over the place. I didn't want to use gravel, just the marbles but I may have to use gravel if I can't get the divider to stay in place? That is the only thing that I see is a problem, everything else looks great. Can't wait to give my betta's their Valentines present later today.

Wonderful Product!
Been debating on getting this for awhile and glad I gave it a chance. Was worried about the glass in shipping but it was packaged very well, it took me five minutes to get through all the padding! Not to mention it was here in just four days. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price point, you can barely get a small acrylic tank at this price yet here is a REAL glass aquarium of professional grade! Very thick crystal clear glass with no distortion. The seals on the glass are pristine and definitely watertight. Comes with an inset glass cover and glass divider which I personally would not recommend using for such a small tank. No holes on cover for filter but in such a small tank water changes on a regular basis are better for fish anyway. Some may disagree but I feel that this size is perfect for a single betta. Mine definitely seems to like it, even after downgrading from a 2.5 gallon tank. And it looks a thousand times better than the old acrylic with its hard water rings and scratches. I defo recommend the product and plan to buy another myself asap for my second betta.

Disappointing for a tank labeled for Betta
I purchased this item for a photo tank as the plastic ones I was using before were too easily scratched. It works well for a photo tank but I would caution anyone against using this as a tank to house two betta, there is a huge gap between the sides of divider. Many a betta can get through and if they cant get completely through they can still damage each other through it or get their tails caught. Its just not a good idea unless you silcone the big gap.

Awesome little tank
ordered two, one came broken but the other one is great its a good size. I have not actually used it for Betta yet as last time I went to the pet store I ended up buying two new betta and a 5 divider betta tank. This just means I have room for two more though
