Well made, attractive knife. NOT SHARP!
This item arrived, well packaged in a plastic container. After opening, inspection of the product revealed some good and some bad. This knife has lovely rosewood scales, and feels nice in the hand. the steel is good, and fairly flat right from the box. Unfortunately, this was the extent of good. The knife was NOT sharp in any meaningful way. the tip was blunt, and didn't come to a full point, and the edge, though properly beveled, did not have any sort of a blade on it. there was nearly a full 64th of an inch of flat, unground steel where the edge should have been.Without a proper grinder, this edge took me over an hour of sharpening on my regular stones to make. For the money, this is a mediocre blade at best. I should have spent a couple more dollars and gotten much better.

Came totally dull and totally smelly
Knife came completely and totally dull. The edge was about half the width of the spine. I had to grind in a secondary bevel on the blade because it would have been impractical to keep the full flat grind with how insanely dull it was. After sharpening, it has become pretty clear that the blade either wasn't hardened at all, or is made from the lowest quality steel possible. It's almost like mild steel. I cut a piece of paper to test the edge and that alone dulled it. It might even be made of aluminum with how soft it is. Also, it smells VERY bad. Like urine and spoiled milk combined. Seriously, I've washed this thing twice now with soap and hot water but the smell is still there. It's eye watering. I can't stress enough how terrible it smells. And you can smell it from a couple feet away. If you leave it sitting in a room for a couple hours, the entire room smells like a litter box. I considered boiling it, but honestly I think I would have to throw away the pot afterwards. I'm not going to return it, because I'm certain they'll resell it and no one should have to suffer through the horror that is this knife. I'm not even going to throw it away because it smells worse than my trashcan and would stink up the kitchen. Whoever made this thing should have to sit in timeout and think about what they did for a few years.

Pretty good, and a must have for lefties
As a lefty, I like this quite a lot. My biggest complaint is that it isn't as sharp as it should be out of the box and is easy to dull. Be sure to sharpen often and it'll work great.

Eh, if you know how to use one, you should be able to make own for yourself.
It’s not a bad blade, not very comfortable to hold though. By the time that revived it, I had made three on my own in my shop.

Great for lefty
Great knife. It came pretty sharp but being compulsive I sharpened and honed it to a razor sharp edge. Great little tool.

Making clean cuts.
The tool that helps with building storm windows and other woodworking projects. Also helps from getting tear out when using hand chisels, and some wood planes.
