Useful guide
A few noteworthy pieces of info, history and instruction. A little hard to read (as in long-winded in some places)

Informative
My husband loves this book. It will be a great asset when he starts his new hobby, Plant Grafting.

This is the best book I have ever had in its in depth ...
This is the best book I have ever had in its in depth covering of the subject of grafting. I have been in the nursery business for 45 years and am still learning.

There are better books available
This book is limited on information especially when it comes to grafting. It lightly covers almost all the related subjects but doesn't go in depth. I had also bought The Grafters Handbook and it's much better. It has techniques for all the different types of grafts and when, where, and why's.

200 pages of EXPERT detail
I am not qualified to judge this book by an acknowledged expert, but as a published author of a technical book on another subject myself I see clearly that Peter Macdonald's book must be at the very top in its subject area. It is both wide-ranging and detailed.Beginner grafters should read first Larry Southwick's little book in the Storey Country Wisdom Bulletin series, also available on Amazon at a very low cost for quite a lot of information. Peter Macdonald's book comes later. (Do not buy Larry Eagleman's empty book.)Eric Franklin
