Uses bolts to hold them together so they are stronger than glued chairs.We like them. Not as fancy as the ones we replaced, but they are a great replacement.It's very important when assembling them toa. don't strip the threads. start the bolts by hand, slowly and carefully, until you are sure you have it started well. Don't get out the allen wrench and crank on it before you know it has started well. Stripping the threads leaves you stuck without a bolt the exact size needed.b. tighten each bolt/screw a little bit, then go on to the next bolt/screw. Don't crank one down or the others won't squeeze into place nicely. Go slowly, changing the bolt/screw you are working each bolt/screw a litter further patiently. Then tighten them all down tight.c. we had to put a tiny dab of wood glue on the wooden caps that hide the bolts. Very easy to do.If you assemble in this way, they work great!

Looks nice for the price.they were very hard to assemble due to lack of clear direction.the first one took 4 hours to figure it out and the second one I did in a half hr.chairs look nice for the money,but both front legs were shorter than the back legs on both chairs so it had a rocking chair effect. I called them and they told me to go buy felt pads to put on the legs.maybe they should make the right length of legs to begin with.they are ok for everyday chairs.

I ordered these so we would have additional chairs similar to our originals. When the box arrived I had a bad feeling about everything being inside since the packaging tape (the little they used) had separated and as I rotated the box I heard things falling inside.I quickly reported this, it took almost 2 weeks to get replacement hardware. They went together nicely and seem as sturdy as the others in our set.

We wanted to get additional chairs to go with what we already have in our kitchen, and these looked the same, but they're actually better. Whereas the ones we already had have the ends of the pieces pushed into holes and glued, these are actually bolted together. There's a solid feel to them; they don't wobble while you're sitting on them. Four stars instead of five because the assembly instructions aren't all that good, but the chairs themselves are great.

The chairs were packed well. Instructions for assembly weren't clear, however went together in short amount of time. One chair had a broken spindle which was immediately replaced by the company, who were prompt at replying to my email and very easy to work with. Chairs are of good quality. The finish matches my existing chairs and table. I am happy with the chairs and the company.

Poor construction quality. Easy to put together, but problems with the overall fitting of pieces. Does not support a heavier person well(>200 lbs) Feels a bit squishy under weight, and the chair does not sit level on the floor. For the price it is a reasonable child's chair. The back broke off of one chair after about a month or two, the other is still in service, but we only let the kids sit on it

Not exactly super comfy but if you add a non-slip pad on the chair, they kick ass. I've had two break over the years from larger people (300+ lbs). Good value! Very smooth finish.

Largely as expected. A small problem with one of the stretcher rails between the side rails. Mounting hole was drilled off center making the stretcher rail hard to install. Forced it to fit and the chairs are great otherwise.Better quality and design than other similar priced chairs.
