I started out playing the alto sax in my school band but gave it up and decided the piano was more my style. I wanted to start playing the alto sax again but I was looking at prices for saxophones and it just wasn't cutting my budget. I decided to give this one a try since it was in my price range and that it got relatively good reviews from people. It is a beautiful sax to look at and I like all the extras that came along with it. The sax sounds ok but I think it could sound better.The instrument could sound really good with some upgrades and minor adjustments, it's all up to how much your willing to spend to do so. Good for a beginner student or someone who just want's to take it up as a hobby.

We have been renting a saxophone through the school for my 9 year old daughter since the beginning of the year. I decided to look into buying one instead of paying the $40 a month rental fee. When I found this saxophone the first thing that drew me in obviously was the color. I knew she'd love the blue but I was kinda nervous about some of the reviews. I took a chance and decided to order it about a month ago, And let me tell you I'm so glad I did!! First of all it's absolutely stunning! She was so excited when she opened the box. It's definitely doesn't feel flimsy, lightweight or junky by any means. It plays beautifully, all the kids in her class were going crazy over the color and her band instructor (who tried to talk me out of buying it) couldn't find a single thing wrong with it! This is definitely a great buy and worth every penny!

The value is outstanding. No this is not a a professional grade sax but, it is far better than I thought for the price. Quality is really good. Sounds good too. I saw a pro sax player compare this to his super high sax and he was floored. Its not as good but unbelievable for the price. I highly recommend for a beginner.

I bought this for my son for his band. It was either rent an instrument or buy an instrument and this was a relatively inexpensive instrument. He absolutely loves it it's got great sound quality and his teacher loves it no complaints.

This was a great purchase. bought it for a 4th grader. went to rent it and it was $250 for 10 month + they wanted deposit & credit check!!! so decided to buy one paid around $235 for this and so far it's been wonderful. everybody asks my son where he got it from and i have been directing people to Amazon. already worth it as i spend $15 less than the cost to rent and it looks like this will last for very long time. My friend is a musician and he endorsed it!!! :)
