My Utmost for His Highest: Value Edition

I purchased the value edition and I am thrilled! For me, it is the perfect size. I have a whole stack of other books I'm preparing to read and the value edition is a convenient non imposing size that I can comfortably keep around the house without it getting in the way. It is not a pocket size but just small enough to be a non invasive devotional to lay around. Really enjoying the content so far as well. Oswald's deep reflections on the word really compliment my time with Lord. I am seeking that higher thought that transcends this world and remains on our heavenly Father who is spirit. I feel the short daily reflections of this book will help me to do just that.

I purchased this book as a gift and "Mrs Norris" had written in the front of the book. Scripture reference, not that is bad but I am giving it as a gift to someone hoping they will keep it for years to come and they have "NO IDEA" (neither do I for that matter) who Mrs Norris is. And I wanted to write an inscription. Looks now like I bought it used and I did not!!!!Although the sticker on the back says it is "used acceptable" so this is on me. I guess.

One of the best Bible study books ever written. Oswald Chambers possessed wisdom beyond his years. I used to struggle with wondering what to read in the Bible to benefit the most from it. I have read it beginning to end, and used several study books, and this is by far the best way to go. Extremely fast shipping, and a very good price. I would suggest this seller to anyone.

I have bought 8-10 copies of this book and given them away, but next time, I will pay a little more for a better binding. However it is bound, the content is fantastic!

This is the best selling devotional of all time for a reason. I have read this every day for the last 18 years and it is as good now as it was then. I have handed 70 of these out in the last month through our church and I am about to buy 100 more.......it's just that good. Any book that can help in a walk with the Lord is worth it!

The content more than lives up to its circa 100 year old reputation. This paperback version at $5 is good for gifts as starter. If I were to purchase another for myself, I would get one with some room in the margins for notes, perhaps a leatherbound edition so I could see if I could wear it out. Definitely this book is worthy of a hardback / leatherbound investment.

I didn't realize this was a daily devotional, but it doesn't matter. This is probably one of the best devotionals I have ever had. The writings from Chambers is filled with scripture and also relates back to the scripture when dealing with everyday life situations and feelings, etc. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.
