Disappointed..
I've had a few Blackvue cameras, I use the B112 battery daily. I expected this device to be as seamless as advertised, but unfortunately I was wrong. Power won't go to the dash cam under certain settings with the dip switches (the device won't supply power if I select 12.5v for an infinite amount of time). But if I fudge with the switches for a bit, I can find a setting that supplies power. If that were the only issue, I really wouldn't care. The bigger issue, is that the parking mode switch doesn't work. Either power is going to the device 100% of the time, or I have to unplug the obd device every time I don't want it to go into parking mode. This is my 3rd different device that I've purchased (and will soon return). I'm not sure about compatibility issues, but OBD ports are standardized so I'm not sure what the issue is.I've contacted Blackvue's customer service, they've said I must have gotten a bad unit and that I should return and try another one...These issues may not be too big of a deal and it may work for your personal set-up, but I'll hold out for a more seamless application.

Excellent Especially for Fuse Boxes Under the Hood
The Power Magic EZ is a GREAT way to power my Blackvue 900s. My Jeep Renegade has the fuse box under the hood near the engine. By plugging the Magic EZ in the OBD, I get a constant power source for parking mode. My only gripe is that unlike the Power Magic Pro (has a much larger on/off switch) that came with the 900s, the power switch to turn off the Magic EZ is very small. Also, the way my OBD is situated, the small on/off switch is in the back, thus I find it easier to just unplug the power to the dash cam via the power cable to the unit.Overall, this could not have been any easier and well worth it for anyone that needs constant power.

Works very well, set it, plug it in and forget it!
Works just as advertised, would be beneficial to have pass through connectivity so that it would not need to be removed if you are using one of the many aftermarket hot spots or other offerings that utilizes this port . But if this is not an issue for you than all good!

Works Perfectly!!
Great product. Works perfectly! Don’t believe the negative reviews as improper install or settings are most likely the cause. I set my dip switches to unlimited and 12 voltage and haven’t had a problem. It’s installed on an Infinity QX80. Hope this helps.

Easy as 1-2-3
This has to be the simplest easiest way to install a power source for a dash-cam. I wonder why no one thought of it yet?

Works.. But not as intended
This provides power to the cameras via ODBII for sure..HOWEVER, the cameras restart every 2-3 minutes as others have stated. This is on a 2019 Toyota.

Doesn't work. Great idea but crappy manufacturing quality
Doesnt work. Bought a new car and wanted to use my blackvue 650 2ch from my old car into the new. I took the camera out which was using a multisafer as power source and tried the power magic ez. No power to the unit. The light is green on the power magic but no power to the camera. I have a second blackvue camera in another car so I tried that camera to see if I can make sure the camera wasnt faulty. Still no power. I then tried plugging into the 12v socket using the original cord and both cameras power on. I even tried using the power magic ez in my other car (from my Ford to my Volkswagen) and still nothing. This is a dud. It's unfortunate that so many of these are faulty based on what I have read online in forums and reviews. I was hoping I'd get lucky but I guess not.

Works well if you drive enough to fully recharge your battery
Needed this for my first dash cam as I really wanted parking mode. Install went okay. It gives the option to choose voltage cut-off points to prevent parking mode from fully draining the battery. The switch settings on the sticker on the device didn't quite match the manual; I ended up following the manual.I set it to the highest cut-off voltage, as I really don't want any chance of the car not starting up. I currently drive very short distances only, and found that parking mode only holds for a few hours after driving, as I don't drive enough to fully recharge the battery.

Good product to save you time
Works real well and makes the installation of your camera much simpler.I highly recommand it if you don't want to put a lot of time into the installation or you are not electrically inclined.

Works really well with our car
We got a blackvue front and rear dash cam set a couple years ago when we got a new car. We also got a power box to help extend the recording time, but despite watching many many videos and following all the tutorials, we couldn’t get it to work at all. We were super disappointed and didn’t use the dash cam until recently when we purchased another vehicle. We saw that blackvue came out with this new product and it’s plug and play. We got this and was surprised at how easy it was to set up and use. We were able to hide all the wiring and get both our dash cams working with the extended record timer.I highly recommend this for blackvue users.

Defective
Looks like there's tons of defective unit reviews, I thought I'd be lucky but guess not.Tried all voltage settings, even with the ignition on the Power Magic EZ would not pass on electricity to power the DR590W-2CH I have. The lights on the PMEZ also don't light up. If this had worked this would be the most easy installation of parking mode/continuous power for a dashcam (versus a hardwire).
