Perfect MTB saddle in every way
This saddle is amazing! Buy this saddle right now! Stop looking, buy this one. It's super light, strong, and fits your sit bones properly. Follow the sizing guide on their website and you'll be singing their praises too. I use it on my Specialized Epic Expert with Fox Transfer dropper and it is fantastic.

First of all, this isn't my first SQlab product and I can't recommend their Innerbarends enough! Nonetheless, when I was looking to replace my stock XC MTB saddle, the brand never crossed my mind. The Syncros saddle I replaced could very well be used as a torture implement so let's leave it at that. SQ's 611 saddle delivers on all its promises: it's lightweight, with sufficient cut-outs not to get in the way of vigorous pedalling. More importantly, it is generously padded for your bum and with ample pressure relief for your bollocks! Mountain biking is all about rocks, and thanks to these Germans, YOUR rocks will be safe! Make sure to check their website before selecting the size, and do size-up if needed.

After a nearly a year suffering lower back / tailbone esk area pain after rides on my MTB, I took the plunge and bought an SQlab 611 saddle in Germany during a trip. They measured my pelvic sitting bones (very important to get this right otherwise the seat will not fit you), asked what type of riding I did, what sort of duration and my weight. X-country MTBing & commuting, up to 6+ Hrs of riding and approximately 87kg's. "The 15cm 611 is for you then Sir!" My back and tailbone pain disappeared immediately & I was completely sold on their saddle! After nearly 9 years of pain free 6+hr rides, I had a rather interesting fall on a commute (diesel spill) that ever so slightly bent one of the seats rails. That seat still works for MTBing, but it gave me an excuse to get another saddle so I didn't have to swap mine between my two bikes (MTB & Commuter), so I bought this saddle thinking the Ti-Tubes might be titanium and therefore very strong & stiff.....doubtful at this price though. After a couple of months riding on this saddle, here is my view on it. Good things first: The saddle fits perfectly, it is comfy, looks good and again, I have no pain after many hours in the saddle. Now the things that aren't so good: The paint finish on the seat rails chipped off very quickly (I had to adjust it once or twice to get the position right, the rails appear to flex a lot more than my old seat whilst pedalling (not all bad as its a bit like SQlabs active saddles), however that means that as you pedal, the ends of the rails move in and out of their rear holding ports making a terrible creaking noise. On the underside where the seat cover is attached, I wont say the build is bad, but the finish doesn't appear to be as clean as my other SQlabs seat, or as sturdy. The last two photos are of my old seat for comparison. Apart from being a little shiner than the day I bought it, it looks very much like it did way back when. The only defence I can give for this saddle is that I am at the top end of its suggested weight limit of 90kg max. If you are under 80kg's, it is likely the flexing and creaking will not manifest themselves and you will have yourself a really superb seat. Make sure you follow their measuring guide if you are to get one as it is pointless just guessing. All in, I can just about put up with the creaking as the seat is indeed compf, however next time I need a seat, I will visit one of their retailers to make sure I pick a sturdier version (if there is one) as that is something not very easy to do on line.
