Following knee replacement surgery I purchased this item as the hospital advised to ice the knee area for 20 minutes following each hourly physio therapy/exercising. This proved to be extremely valuable both with relieving swelling and pain on my knee joint. The covering sent with the item kept the ice away from my skin therefore preventing ice burn and avoiding any rubbing of the wound. The wide velcro straps held it in the correct position perfectly for the duration of the treatment. Once used it re-iced quickly in the freezer for the next application.I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this product. Well described and just the job!!

Having recently had a knee replacement operation I looked into purchasing some sort of ice pack rather than use the proverbial 'frozen peas' or 'pillow case stuffed with ice cubes'!! This simple piece of kit was absolutely perfect for the job!. It covers at least 4" below and 4" above the knee and because the gel, which does not freeze solid, allows the apparatus to wrap around the knee completely, which is held in place by two extra long velcro straps. The soft plastic compartmental gel casing slab sits in a velvety shroud which adds to the comfort during application and prevents over freezing of the area being treated. I cannot recommend this product highly enough for this type of injury and has definitely assisted in reducing swelling and bruising around the area and a main contributor to my pain relief. A 'MUST BUY' product for this type of injury and at 20 quid its an absolute bargain!!

pretty good therapy though for me the elesticated velcro staps werent long enough after my knee operation. doesnt hold the cold long enough i found

So good I bought another one for a friend.

Bought to use following a knee replacement. This is easy to wrap around the joint, retains the cold and works well. This goes easily into freezer and cools quickly.Can also be used warm by heating in microwave but I have not yet tried that.

I had a knee replacement and this was very helpful and appreciated.

The cool pack is much thinner than other ones I have. This means it warms up quickly and doesn't cool for long enough.

Super pratique . Acheté suite à une déchirure musculaire au mollet , elle m'a beaucoup servi. Facile à fixer au dessus d'un jean's , je l'avais au boulot pour glacer régulièrement. Ne tient le froid que 10/12 min mais froid intense , il ne faut pas plus .Utilisable en chaud pour les douleurs musculaires (au micro ondes ) c'est le top ! Et elle garde bien le chaud .Les kiné recommande l'alternance chaud/froid une fois le stade inflammatoire dépassé. C'est idéal.Passe en bagage à main avec Vueling si on peut justifier l'utilité médicale (la photo de présentation et un certificat médical de plus de 4 mois indiquant que j'avais eu des béquilles à suffit ).Je recommande

suite à un œdème au genou je suis super contente de la poche, l'utilisation est simple le tissus protège bien du froid et est agréable à porter. Seul bémol le froid ne dure pas un temps fou. Je vais acheté une 2ème poche pour alterner et avoir le froid plus longtemps
