Works perfectly for our needs. We wanted continuous power in our photo booth and it worked as advertised. Gave it 4 stars for material quality because it’s very lightweight and “cheap” feeling but it worked fine none the less. Would buy again.

I bought this to use it on a Canon 5DmkII, and the camera will not power on reliably. Many times the light will flicker and the camera will stay off. 3 out of 10 times the camera will power on and appear to work ok, but after a while it will shut down again. The camera works perfectly with a battery.

An adapter that allows you to run a Canon DSLR for this price is unheard of. I'm here to say that it is indeed worthwhile. I absolutely love it and I saved over $100 by buying this after-market item.

Will not power my 5D MKIII or my 6D MKII.... for $20 dollars I knew it was a long shot.
