I have always loved A-Z Mysteries. As a teacher, I read them to my students and reccomend them to families. The characters and story lines are always great. This book, however, references Jack the Ripper several times. It tells in detail that he murdered women. That is completely inappropriate for young children. I can only imagine the responses I would get from parents if I read this aloud to the children. It's too bad because the rest of the story is entertaining. Normally this series is a hit. This book, however, is a big fail.

I really like this book it is very interesting and full of mystery. I really liked it when you thought about including the queen 's grandsons and her birthday and that there was as way to find her jewels by looking for her initials on the back of her crown and jewels and that the initials were the first three letters of her first, middle, and last name which were E.A.M.

My kids love these books, they are spooky without being scary. The characters are relatable. Good for grade 1-2 depending on the kids reading level. My third grade son can read through one of these in an afternoon, but still likes the stories.

son loves these books. it's the first series we have found that he enjoys reading and will read over 30min uninterrupted. very pleased with that for my 1st grader!

Bought these for grandkids who already like reading them. I have not read them, but the mothers have and they are happy with them.

We have been big fans of Roy's A-Z mysteries for the 6-9 age category for the most part. I am giving this one a single star however, for multiple references to Jack the Ripper crimes of 1888. Just not what a 6 or 9 year needs to read about.

It is an awesome book and i recomend everyone to read it. The three are very smart but to know if they solve the mystery you have to read the book

The book was amazing. The paper quality was good and the print was perfect. It was unputdownable. Best book... I loved it

I was recommended this series of books (which goes from A-Z) by my son's teacher at school. I bought a few of them. Overall, the stories are fine but I would comment that the characters, situations and vocabulary used is very American. I have absolutely nothing against Americans but I would like my children to read books in English (and let's face it there are a lot of good authors like Roald Dahl who are excellent users of English grammar and idiom). Americans and Americanisms are fine but I somewhat balk at being corrected by my son when I say that the date is "the 13th of October two thousand and seventeen", which apparently is completely wrong and the date is "October 13 two thousand seventeen".Hey there... high five!... nice job! way to go!... etc etc. Educatin' 'ems sure gonna be difficult.
