He walks, kneeds and purrs and meows.It's kind of awkward getting him to walk because you have to press on a certain part of his back. The batteries were a real pain to install since you have to unscrew the housing for the batteries to install them.He'll only walk for a few seconds and then he'll stop and meow and sometimes he'll start walking again but then most the time he won't.It wasn't what I expected.I wanted to get my dogs a play toy because they love chasing cats. My dogs loved this but I liked the cat so much, I didn't want them ruining him so I ended up giving it to my neighbor's child.He's really cute but not cuddly. You can feel the boxed in electronics through the fur. So, he's not really a teddy bear kind of a toy.

My daughter loves cats in all shapes, sizes, and colors, however she cannot have them in her apartment which is why they live with me. I got her this as a present so she could have something at home to remind her of her cats. She's 30 years old and this was a perfect gift for her. I purchased it online because I wanted something inexpensive, since it was a gag gift, and did not need the box. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This toy is quite boring. It does not do a whole lot besides walk 5 inches forward and make a very bad meow. The meow is a very poor imitation of a real cat. One thing I can say about this toy is it can be thrown around and dropped and it still works. My 2 year old twin boys do not play with the toy very often.

I just received this so I can't comment on the durability. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 18 month old grand-daughter. It's so adorable. I haven't even taken it out of the packaging and it's very easy to make it purr, walk, and meow. She's going to absolutely love it. I don't think I'll be able to wait until Christmas. Hmmm, maybe it'll be a Thanksgiving gift and start a new tradition.

As another reviewer mentioned, I also replaced the batteries in hope of improving the functions this cat was meant to perform. It would take 2 steps and stop. Sometimes you press the button on the back and nothing would happen. Other times it would purr and then it may take half a step or 4 steps. Very frustrating and unpredictable. I was hoping to press the button on the back and have it walk around the room. Definetly not the case.

Right out of the package this kitty looked a bit evil. His eyebrows were contorted and his whiskers all bent up and uneven. I had to spend several minutes trying toalter its appearance before wrapping it up for a Christmas gift. Though the kitty was highly anticipated by my 5 year old, she has spent little to no time actuallyplaying with the toy. I had read the reviews on this and knew that might be a factor, as I was not the first to come to this conclusion. But of course, I had to seefor myself. Well, the reviewers were right! Cute but not very entertaining long term.

It has been almost 2 years since I ordered and received this product. I don't recall any negatives with the order, the product itself and it was delivered at or around the time promised. This kitty was a gift for my grandson and he still LOVE'S it! I thank you for having it when I needed it since they were hard to find in stores. Thanks, for another good experience.

This toy was disappointing - I returned it after trying to improve things by replacing batteries (I thought the batteries provided must have been defective) - the cat only walks a few steps at a time and meows and purrs - certainly not engaging for my 5 year old granddaughter.

The child found this toy very funny and treats it like a real cat! This toy is better than the new version!

good quality my daughter loves it a lot looks natural fur and even the inside mechanism does not look cheap, off good quality.

My Granddaughter likes it. I bought it for her Birthday and she likes to hear it purr!I think it was quite a successful present!
