Review of the UPerfect 15.6 inch 3K, 3200x1800, portable monitor, ASIN: B07P77LLDQ. Addressing some questions I had before ordering:Q: What is the build quality? A: Externally it is fine. Smooth, tight, flush, and slick. The front surface is matte.Q: How is the picture quality? A: Great. I'm running the UPerfect side by side with a Macbook pro. Neither suffers by comparison with the other. Coming from the Neanderthal age, I prefer the mac's 16:10 aspect ratio to the UPerfect's 16:9.Q: How bright is the display? A: The default brightness is 79, the default contrast is 50. I see no need to increase the brightness. I did bump up the contrast by a couple of points (but it didn't stick for the next session).Q: What sort of video card is required? A. I'm using an MSI GT710 card with 2GB. It does the job well, but I think it must be close to the minimum required.Q: Can the monitor really support a refresh rate of 60 Hz? A: I don't know. I'm using a mismatched driver with a setting of 3840x2160_30.00. But I can say that at 30 Hz, movies and videos run smoothly with no sign of flicker.Q: Any comments about the accessories? A: I was apprehensive about the power adaptor, and, on receipt, happy to find that its grounding barrel makes a nice snug fit with its target recess (via a detent prong).Q: Can a second-tier monitor have the quality to last as long as a big name brand? A: That is the crucial question. My copy has only about 70 hours operation so far.

Tricky 4K for Microsoft Surface Pro
The device was fine. Screen worked, was price, good angles of visibility. I could not output 4K via the DP to HDMI converter from Microsoft with the supplied HDMI cable from UPerfect. It would output 1080p with no issues, but the only want to get it to display higher than 1920x1080 was to 'mirror' the native Surface screen, which is lower resolution than the 3200x1800. I was able to push higher / full resolution from my desktop, but since I bought it for Mobile 4K, it failed my needs and was returned.

Excellent product, well packaged.
I love it. Used it as a replacement for a broken laptop screen and it works great and now I've got a phenomenal picture for my games and media. The packaging kept the screen in tact, which I was concerned about when the box arrived half crushed but upon opening the box I found the screen well nestled in squishy foam with nary a scratch.

Picture is great! speakers need a boost.
The screen quality is great and i love the adjustable mount it comes with. Only issue i have is the audio quality of the built in speakers. Sounds gets a bit scratchy at around 50% volume. Other than that its great!!!

A decent portable monitor, if you can get over the price and some design flaws.
I had an Asus Zenscreen Go (MB16AP) for about 2 weeks before this. One day, it stopped powering up and the LED was stuck showing a full charge, so it went back to Amazon. After a bunch of searches, I landed on this monitor and decided to go with it as a replacement.Comparatively speaking, Asus' industrial design is far superior for a similar price. The casing for this Uperfect monitor looks like it was stamped out of sheet metal with whatever minimum design was needed to mount the screen and electronics in place. The edges aren't very smooth, which makes carrying it around a little unpleasant. The port selection is good. You get an HDMI to mini HDMI cable in the box, which is likely the most common usage for this monitor. I had to buy a mini DisplayPort to mini DisplayPort cable for my MacBook Air. I would call the micro-USB port essentially useless. The power adapter that comes with the device (more on that later) is 12v @ 2 amps. It's possible that the included power supply is over-provisioned and it doesn't need the full 24 watts, but I can't seem to find its nominal operating wattage anywhere. To match that 24 watts of power with the 5v that comes with standard USB, you'd need 4.8 amps. That's not gonna happen. So you may not be getting full brightness over USB power. Now, if it were a USB type C port, that would be a whole different story. Given what this device costs, I've decided not to test the micro-USB port.Speaking of brightness, the specs claim 400 nits. I don't have a meter, but I'm not sure it's quite that bright. It sure looks close though. If you told me it was 350 nits, I'd believe it. Odd thing is that I initially thought it wasn't any brighter than the 220 nits claimed by Asus with the Zenscreen. But over the past two weeks using the Uperfect monitor almost daily, I'd swear the brightness has improved with a little "break-in." The viewing angle seems to have also improved. When I first powered it on, I thought I got scammed and that they sent me a TN panel instead of an IPS. The color and brightness went way off as soon as you moved even slightly off-center on either axis. After a couple weeks of usage, it's much improved over my first impression and I'm loving being able to watch movies on it, while I do "real" work on my laptop screen. The screen resolution... what can I say? It's fantastic and super sharp. It's borderline overkill for a 15.6 inch display, but I mean that as a good thing. I'm not a pixel peeper so I can't say it's 100% flawless, but my eyes haven't spotted any stuck or dead pixels.Overall, I'm very pleased with the performance of the monitor, but there are some flaws which detract from it.Number one on the list is that there is no built-in kickstand. They include some janky tablet stand for it, but it's narrow and fairly unstable. For $300, I would expect some Surface-type of flip-out kickstand. Luckily, I had an Amazon tablet stand lying around, and it folds out wide enough to keep it stable.Second is that the power adapter which comes with it is ridiculous. I'm perfectly happy accepting that they use a barrel plug power supply. If that's what's needed to make a screen pleasantly bright, so be it. But the cable on the adapter is comical. It's about a meter long (or 3 feet). Every conference room I've set this up in has required me to move tables and/or chairs around to reach an outlet. The cable should easily be twice as long. So now I'm on the hunt for an aftermarket adapter, which means more monetary investment on top of an already expensive item.Third, the buttons being on the back are incredibly annoying. It's really painful the first few days fiddling with the controls to get the screen set up to your tastes. Thankfully, you wouldn't need to use them very often once you get it set up to your liking.Lastly, they don't include any way to protect the device considering it's supposed to be portable. Asus gives you a slickly designed cover which protects it from scratches, (very) light bumps, gives it a grippy texture for carrying, and doubles as a stand. Uperfect included a flyer in the box offering a free case (or your choice of other knick-knack) if you write a positive review and send a link to them. I dug out an old laptop sleeve buried in my garage and decided to forego the payout.I definitely miss the convenience of Asus' Zenscreen (built-in battery, one cable, magnetic cover/stand, front control buttons), but for my usage, it's worth spending an extra minute or two of setup to have a brighter and sharper screen which is compatible with standard display ports. I really wish Amazon allowed half-star reviews. This is a solid 3.5. But since I have to choose, I'm going with 3 because it's such a pain to plug it into a power outlet. Seriously, something as simple as a 6-foot power cable could have earned this 4 stars.

Fantastic Portable Monitor
I've owned several portable monitors and this one is by far the highest resolution, most feature rich and lightweight of any of the ones I've owned. This is a great monitor at a great price.
