AWESOME AND FITS
I have a SHOP FOX Model W1704 mini lathe. This fits perfectly and runs smoothly. Packaged very well and sealed with lubricants. I previously ordered a different one which NOT only didnt fit my lathe but it was poorly made. IM EXCITED TO HAVE THIS ADDITION!!! I make jewelry and this is awesome for polishing rings. Fits the adjustable ring mandrels perfectly!!!

Decent Piece
I ordered this piece for my new Craftman lathe 6 speed. It fits prfect, it was delivered super fast, and it was pretty simple to use. It holds the wood nicely and tight. It was great for its price. I would recomend it but I've only had it for less than a week so I don't know how well it will keep long term.

So far out of parallel, this is unusable
When I get time, I'm sure I can grind these down to where the jaws are parallel, but as I got it, they're not only terribly off-center, but they won't even hold on to most stock because they only grip at the bottom, leaving the outer end free to move. No amount of tightening helps.

I ordered this to put on a Wen wood lathe and it worked exactly how I intended. Glad I decided to go with this one over some more expensive ones.

Disappointed
Received this lathe chuck today. Ordered yesterday. Five stars to Amazon. This product looks well made and out of the box I was impressed. However, when I tried to open the jaws, no amount of force on the two wrenches (at least by hand) I applied would open the jaws. I called Shop Fox technical support and spoke to a very nice young man and he told me the shipping grease might be keeping the jaws from opening and to apply WD-40 and let it set for awhile and try again. I performed this process three times, each time letting it "soak" for an hour. Still couldn't open the jaws. I was afraid to apply more than hand pressure in fear I might break something or bend or break the "wrenches" and not be able to return the product. When I ask tech support when facing the jaws if I should turn them clockwise or counter clockwise the nice young man (or anyone he ask) could not answer the question. You would think someone would know. I am returning this product and thinking I will do more research before buying another mini lathe chuck.

Would not recommend.
Design feels cheap and jaws don't stay tightly closed around pieces to be turned. Would not recommend.
