Cat Recovery Suit for Abdominal Wounds or Skin Diseases, Breathable E-Collar Alternative for Cats and Dogs, After Surgery Wear Anti Licking Wounds

This is a good E-collar alternative, but depending on your pets preference it may or not make them more comfy.  While it worked for its main purpose of keeping my female kitty off her stitches after her spay, she was no happier than she was with the e-collar.  It just made her much less mobile, and more grouchy toward me.   With the -collar the vet gave us, she would walk around and 'try' to live normally, bumping into things and not being able to get in her favorite nooks and crannys of the house, and was in relatively good spirit. I grabbed one of these thinking she would prefer it, but the moment I put it on she just got depressed and would barely move, sitting in the loaf position staring at the wall just about 24/7.  She is a 6lb average dimensioned/pre portioned kitten, and the small size fit her perfectly, but these need to be form fitting (Like hers was) to ensure they cant get under the cloth to nibble on the stitches and with my cat at least this very minor constriction really bothered her.  She would pretend she couldnt walk, rolling over when put down (and so on), even though she "could" move.  I know this because a few hours after putting it on her, I had company over to the house, who was a stranger to her and when they walked in the one and only time she moved while wearing the vest occurred, as she dashed across the house to hide, with her normal speed and dexterity...   Soon as the company left she was back to acting like she could barely walk, being a loaf of bread.The material is pretty thin, but for $10 it was about the quality you would expect.  Right out of package a few stitches were already fraying, but nothing that would make it fall apart for the time it was needed.  Definitely not a good option if you want it for multiple cats over time/plan to wash it and re-use more than once or twice.For the price its good to get to at least try, as your pet may not be as grouchy as mine and for $10 is was well worth the try, as it was no big loss when I ended up going back to the cone the next day.

I ordered 2 of these, one small & one medium. The small was too small, medium worked until she figured out how to wriggle out of it. My fault is with Amazon, not with the seller. I ordered these on Monday & the site said I would receive them the next day. which was when I needed them. They did not arrive until the day after that.I will donate the one that's too small, but I will reuse this for the next need. FAR BETTER THAN THE CONE!

I love how easy this onsie was to put on my bbg since shes always moving and it was very stretchy but not tight on her at all. The best part about this surgery suit was that it had a drawstring for her neck to adjust to her so that was a huge plus. She is exactly 4lbs and I ordered a small.

Came super quick and it’s exactly what I wanted wasn’t able to put it on my fur baby cuz she hates everything right now but still can tell it would’ve helped me a lot if ur fur baby isn’t a pain in the a** then it will be great :) thanks again

My cat got spayed on a Monday and the e collar was making her uncomfortable. Decided to get this cute cat onesie and got it delivered on Wednesday. She’s been wearing it for 5 with no issues. Just had a little trouble walking with it the first day but it was a lifesaver.

My kitten was spayed, and the cone was keeping her from eating or drinking. This method was perfect! She never got to her stitches and it almost fit like it was made for her. She is not quite 6 pounds and long and lanky. The length was slightly short, but that was her and not the product. It took her a little while to get used to it but then she had no problem. She seemed to be very comfortable in it. It was well worth the money.

Great for keeping paws off of her spay wound, would definitely recommend still using a cone as they can still lick the material and get germs on the wound or potentially nudge their head through the leg hole to lick the wound directly.

I ordered the pink one first and it is amazing. My 6 month old kitten did not do well with the cone and this has been great. The Velcro on top is very secure. Now I decided to order another one and got the camo print but it has snaps to secure the top instead of Velcro. I do not recommend the camo as my cat was able to get out of that one. Once she found a way to get one button undone, it gives a lot of leverage for the rest. So definitely make sure the one you get has velcro!!

Operaron a mi gatita y antes de pedir este trajecito tan coqueto, intenté todo, desde DYI de YT con camisetas, nada! Era una Houdini, lograba zafarse de ello, luego trate con un pedazo de leggin viejo, que sirvió un poco más que eletodo anterior, al ser likra le ayudo un poco más( segunda foto) pero muy caluroso para ella, y finalmente llegó esté pequeño traje post-operacion y debo decir que es una maravilla, rápido en ponerse (mi gata no le gusta traer nada, ni arnés) así que rápido de poner, ajusta lo necesario, la deja moverse (no como Ella quisiera) ya que gusta brincar por todas partes, pero lo aceptó, duerme bien, le da mucha comezón porque es justo para mantener la herida alejada de lamidas o cualquier otra cosa. Caminan gracioso al principio. Pero sin duda, una excelente opción. Y costo/beneficio lo vale.

EDIT: so I bought a size Small, I should’ve bought the mediumAlas bought this for when my cat was a 5 month old kitten for her spaying; and as much as I liked the colour (bought yellow for my black cat), was too small (whatever size I bought/ whatever the sizing is - definitely go a size up I’d potentially suggest!)

Le compré este traje a mi gata para que pasara los últimos cinco días de su post esterilización más cómoda sin el cono de la vergüenzaSi tu gato es energético y te preocupa que se lo quite porque no lo aguanta, en mi experiencia, con una gata igual de loca, lo aguantan por lo menos cinco días antes de empezar a tratar de arrancar la etiqueta. Duerme cómoda, puede estirarse el ir al baño, y es sencillo revisar cómo va su recuperación al solo levantar tantito la tela. Me imagino que si están aturdidos por una operación aguantan traerlo puesto más días, así que definitivamente lo recomendaría.
