Saw the Ram Swing Arm Mounts on You Tube Tom Boley's new boat.It beats the 2 Ram Mounts I have on my boat for moving the fishfinder.I have it set the Garmin in the stern facing the Humminbird in the bow while fishing.Then when sitting in the stern, I swing the Garmin so it's near me.Also, you can easily remove the Garmin when traveling.

Mounted this on the passenger dash of my 2000 Aquasport. It’s definitely heavy duty and holds the Raymarine gps/depth finder securely. The swivel is perfect for my dual console.

Using this on a 12" head unit on bow of boat. I added (2) 1/4" x 6" metal plates under to fiberglass as I was worried about it just bolting into the fiberglass. Have hit some 2'+ waves and the head unit doesn't move. Beats mounting directly to the deck with factory mount, as I have the ability to move it where unit works for the type of fishing I am doing. Recommend

Very versatile for positioning and steady as a rock.

Excellent. Absolutely excellent. Holds my HDS 9 Gen 3 very solidly yet allows for easy, smooth adjustments. This thing is surprisingly well built, especially at its price point. The holes even lined up with the factory gimbal so I didn’t need to drill any more. The perfect console mount for a bass boat.Only con for me is the lack of a cable management option. I’d give 4.5 stars if I could for that reason, but didn’t feel it was enough of an issue to dock a full star. I ended up buying a 1 inch thick chunk of HDPE (Starboard) from that big auction site, cutting it to size, routing the edges for a finished look, then cutting a channel into it with a router. From there I had a base for cable management and a base to which the RAM mount is screwed down.For those wondering about what hardware to use to screw down the mount, I found that #12 x 1 inch stainless sheet metal screws (x4) hold it down nicely if -a nut-and-bolt combo isn’t an option in your setup. If you’re not familiar, don’t be put off by the “sheet metal” distinction. they have very coarse threads that bite well and don’t let loose easily. Clearly this is needed for sheet metal applications, but it works very well in wood, fiberglass, and even plastic as with my setup. The added advantage for me was that these screws weren’t so long as to go completely through the homemade cable manager I mentioned above.

Solid design holds up well and perfect for the Garmin 73sv

This mount is solid, more so than the ball and socket RAM mounts. If you’re running big water, this is what you need for those 10-12” graphs. I run two of these at the helm of my big tiller boat, and they do not budge unless you want them to.

I have had many Ram mounts. Mostly the ball type with the centre knob style clamp, which are hard to keep tight an usually can't keep a large graph from falling in heavy seas. This unit is rock solid. !! Easy to position. Would recommend

Just installed my Garmin 95sv on it, this thing feels indestructible...probably over kill if you ask me. But time will tell, I'll update if something happens to it

Solid mount that holds my 9 inch Lowrance steady as a rock and I can swing it as required depending on where I’m working on the boat!! You won’t be disappointed with this mount!!
