DAX Cap Style Safety Hard Hat New & Improved 6 Pt. Adjustable Ratchet Suspension

Great hat, but don't drop it at all... or put it under any stress. That baby will crack. Sometimes the metal hooks will rub the wall inside and give an annoying scratch, but you can easily fix it.

My husband works in the plants and this is the only hard hat he likes. They are way cheaper on here then getting them at the local stores and they come in very quickly which is great. Definitely recommend this product. They fit well and the quality is awesome. They are not heavy on your head either.

Great hard hat

I got this b/c it looked super cool and I had the crappiest hard hat so I figured it looke suck and is probably super comfortable. It does look awesome but it’s not as comfortable as I thought. Also I dropped my old hard hat from one foot on top of it onto this one and chipped. So I hope nothing heavy will crush my scull. But because it just looks so awesome I’m giving a generous 4 stars.

Edit* So this thing is extremely lightweight. Too much so. I'm a union Ironworker. I work around metal all day. I had a small trip at work and my head ended up hitting a metal clip attached to the structure I was working on. Initially I thought the clip went under the hardhat and struck my forehead. I'm thankful that I was wearing the hardhat as it likely could've been much worse. That being said, the clip ended up penetrating the hardhat and still hit my forehead. I will be posting a pic of the delam on the hardhat as soon as I get home. This baby was just delivered. Opened it up and threw it on for a test fit. The weight and thickness are super nice. My only concern are the two plastic slides at the back that adjust for head size. When I put it on and tightened it up they pressed into my skull in an uncomfortable manner. I will be trying it out at work this week to see whether it's a thing I can get used to or whether it needs to be exchanged for something better. I will update after the trial run.

They are light but they are not durable they scratch easy. The only way to make them comfortable is to cut the center strap out and cut the other two and glue them back, so it will sit lower. Otherwise it just sits way too high. I also buy this head gear for my Skull Guard and do the same.

Light, and sits low... not like the typical helmets that tower above your head

My husband works construction and said the fit of this hard hat makes all the difference. Expensive but worth it. You get what you pay for.

Was not even useful!

The hard hat in itself is pretty nice and more on the lighter side, but the hard hat came scratched and dinged from the box and yeah it’s a hard hat and it gets wrecked so I’m not concerned with it but it should at least come without damage out of the box. And I wish the headliner sat lower in the bucket but that’s just nitpicking. But it’s very comfortable
