CLC Custom Leathercraft 1100 Multi-Purpose Clip-on Zippered Poly Bags, 3 Pack

These are made really well -- sturdy and with quality zippers and sewing that keeps them from falling apart with moderate to heavy use (for me, these hold heavier/slightly abrasive pieces of metal that I use as a photography hobbyist). I was given a set of these as a gift a few years ago and they worked so well I ended up grabbing another set of them. The clips have held up well on the older set of them and can be surprisingly helpful when I'm clipping them into or on other bags that I have to take on location. So far, none of these have shown enough wear to warrant replacing them and I've dragged these across the country on several different trips. Organizing gear for efficiency is beneficial (sort of like using packing cubes in your luggage) and helps me stay flexible when I'm using multiple different gear bags and boxes alongside everything else that helps me get things done while traveling. As simple as these are, they work well, have held up better, weighed less, and have just that extra bit of utility that makes them stand out from other pouches/bags I've tried in the past.

These are quite thick, sturdy pouches. They seem to be of very good quality, with strong zippers and good seams. The middle (beige) one I am using to store my camera-related electronic equipment, and it is the perfect size. We will be traveling next month and will likely use the smallest size to hold our passports; I am sure we will find a use for the larger size as well. So far I have found this to be just what I wanted at a very affordable price, and I would recommend this set. UPDATE, 7/1/18 We recently used the pouches for various things while traveling. They came in handy are are definitely durable. The only problem we found that because the zipper opens at the side (as opposed to the top), it can be hard to fit items into the pouches even when there is room. I am not sure of the reason for the side zip but believe that top would have been better.

First of all, the price on these ($8.99 at the time I am posting) is fantastic. You get three pouches that are sturdy and well constructed for less than 10 bucks. These pouches are definitely very sturdy, and I do not hesitate to put something in with some sharp edges (i.e., tools). I expect these pouches to last me a while. The only thing keeping me from giving this set 5 stars is the volume of the pouches. They are a bit smaller than what I was hoping for. The dimensions are just as advertised, so this is something I expected. I just wish they had a bit more volume and were a bit more expandable. I run out of room in them quickly. Overall, these are great pouches, and for less than 10 bucks I'd recommend this set to anyone looking for a few handy, sturdy pouches.

First you are getting 3 bags for about $7 so it is hard to fail when that is what you are starting with. This is my 2nd set of these, I use them for small tools or accessories. For example I use one for all my nozzles and extra parts for my compressor, I use a large one to hold all my electrical specific tools/strippers/gauges. I don't use the clips, I put these into larger tool boxes to stay organized, my concern with the clips is they are 2 piece swivel design which is convenient but I suspect with any real weight especially in the large bag it could pop apart, again this is only a guess. Zippers are strong, cloth is thick and rugged. I like that the zippers are off set and not along the top, this protects them a bit, it also is easier to keep manuals or paperwork from getting mangled as I lay them in and use the lip as a retention flap of sorts. Again for the price these are great organization bags

Perfect for small tool pieces and parts and are pretty heavy duty

These turned out to be perfect for my use...I needed extra pockets and things for my gym bag, that has lots of large, open storage, but not many divided or smaller pockets to put things. I looked and looked at different things, but then found these and they were cheap to boot. They clip right on to the ends of my gym bag (i am using the smallest one and the largest one, both of them are black in color...the medium is blue, fwiw). I put my keys, wallet, phone, meds, etc. in them, They zip securely and easily, so I can use one hand while walking to put my keys away after they scan my fob at the gym, etc. Dumb things like that matter to me...they are just the right size to clip on to the same hook the shoulder strap connects to on my bag, so it almost looks like it was made for that purpose. I'm sure most people will buy these for the intended purpose, but just FYI they also work for other applications and reasons...very versatile and cheap...I am considering buying another set, just because it seems I can always find a use for a slim, zippered pocket that I can attach with a clip...great products.

I bought these Custom Leathercraft 1100 Multi-Purpose Clip-on Zippered Poly Bags because somewhere I read a review that the middle-sized case is exactly the right size for the Emberlit Stove. (And it is! It fits great!) But I also needed a few pouches to help organize other items in my wilderness pack. You can use them for whatever, but to give you a rough sense of their capacity: I use the large one with a ziploc bag as a liner to carry dry tinder that I gather for lighting fires more easily (it easily holds two large handfuls of wood curls, plus about thirty 1/8"-diameter twigs; it's approximately the same capacity as a tall pencil case). I use the medium pouch to hold my disassembled Emberlit Titanium UL stove (which fits perfectly, with enough spare thickness to insert a scotchbrite pad or another slim item if desired). And I use the small one for a self-assembled first aid kit (an altoids tin of various bandages and medicines, and a separate, rolled up 3' length of gauze ankle wrap; it's slightly larger than the size of 2 decks of cards, or 2 Altoids tins, placed side by side). Each pouch has a plastic clip sewn securely onto the bag. If desired, the plastic of the clip is easy to cut and remove to reduce bulk and a few grams of weight. Other reviewers don't like that the zipper closes away from the clip, but I find this to be desirable. When the bag is hooked on something, it means you can close the zipper with one hand since you're sliding it away from the attachment point. It also means the zipper hangs downward, making it unlikely to open unintentionally. These are not "locking" type zippers, but they seem to stay shut fine. The exterior of the pouches is a durable nylon. The inside looks coated (it is certainly smoother), and may offer some moisture protection; however, if you need the contents to stay dry, use a ziploc bag as a liner. Note that the cordura nylon used on these bags is very rugged, but also heavier than the more common, simpler, lighter-duty nylon/rip-stop stuff bags with a drawcord top--so if you're a die-hard ultralight type who counts every gram, you'll want to pass on these. For the price, what you get is a great bargain. I bought these to carry/organize smaller items while traveling abroad and they have worked very well. The pouches seem very well made and they appear to be quite sturdy. The zippers have functioned smoothly, with no snags or sticking. Since the material is on the stiff side there isn't much flexibility but the storage capacity of each pouch was quite surprising and I was able to stash quite a bit in each one and zip them close. So far I am really liking these pouches and will probably keep one in my daily bag.

Ich muss sagen die Taschen machen einen robusten Eindruck und sind gut verarbeitet. Der kleine Plastik-Karabiner an der Seite ist ein nettes Zubrot. Ich habe die Taschen als sehr praktisch empfunden, egal ob im Wanderrucksack oder sonst wo: sie sorgen für Ordnung. Und für den Preis von 10 Euro sind sie doch recht zu empfehlen.

Top set of storage pouches, using mostly for storage of drill bits, odd hex keys, and other parts that i've left lying around the workshop. The zips are hard wearing and the material is thick and very durable. Purchased through Amazon and works out to be fantastic value!

Very durable storage. High quality zippers, fabric, and construction. Designed for tools but perfectly sized for gadgets, cables etc. Handy swivel clip for attaching to other bags/loops etc. Great value.

Tienen buena calidad en los materiales, sus tres medidas son muy funcionales, los cierres trabajan bien, lo unico que no me gusto es que la etiqueta la traen engrapada en las tres bolsas, traspasando la tela y dejandoles a las tres los hoyos de la grapa, sin embargo no afecta para nada su utilidad o funcion. Por lo que a mi me parecen una excelente opcion por precio y materiales.
