The Black Hole 4‑Sided Archery Target is hands‑down one of the best targets I’ve used. The friction‑based stopping system is a game changer. Instead of relying on brute force, it slows arrows down cleanly and predictably, whether I’m shooting field points or broadheads. Retrieval is incredibly easy — no tugging, no twisting, no damaged fletchings. Having four usable sides is a huge advantage. It gives me plenty of shooting surface and lets me rotate the target to extend its lifespan. The construction feels tough and dependable, and it holds up beautifully to repeated practice sessions. Even after dozens of shots, it maintains its shape and stopping power. Product fully stops cross bow bolts flyin over 415 FPS. No pass through so far. 2nd year of shooting it. Price right and cost $$ less than most crossbow targets. Small, lightweight with carry handle. Can shoot multiple sides. Good instructions. Constructed of self healing material. Easy to pull bolts out of target. Recommend this product.

I have a 65-70lb compound and at about 60ft it will not allow the arrow to pass all the way through the target (would barely go half way at 30ft). Dimensions (18 x 22) are smaller than you think when you are 60-100ft away (better get some type of "backdrop" for errant arrows). Does not crumble and/or fall apart after each shot and/or pulling arrow out. Sort of "self heals" it's "wound". Has a "paper'ish" handle (but resilient) on the top that is secured to a small would top. Handle is pretty sturdy and you can hang the target if necessary as you can use the wood top to drill in eyehooks, screws, and/or whatever). Great for taking camping/hunting for the occasional practice session and/or use it for a small-lightweight camp table, chair, step, etc.

About the only target I use. Other than my 3D. It is compact and easy to store. Very durable but they still wear out. My go to target.

This target feels very solid and practical right out of the box. It has a simple cube style design that makes it easy to set up and start using without any extra effort. The material feels dense and built to take repeated shots without falling apart too quickly. I like that it works well for different arrow types and still manages to stop them effectively without making retrieval a struggle. The layered construction makes it easy to pull arrows out without damaging them, which keeps practice sessions moving smoothly. What stood out most for me is how well it holds up over time. Even after repeated use, it keeps its shape and still provides reliable stopping power in different areas of the target. Rotating sides also helps extend its life, which makes it feel more practical for regular practice. Overall, this is a dependable archery target that feels durable, easy to use, and well suited for consistent practice without overcomplicating anything.

This target has held up surprisingly well. I thought it would only last a season, I shoot about 100 arrows a week year around, it has surpassed my expectations.

Solid and exactly how advertised.

I use a ~50-60# recurve and a set of lighter bows. Nothing heavier or stronger, like a crossbow or a compound. Arrows go in fairly quietly, go out easily, and do not damage much. When you shoot at the large faces, there is no cover, so there is nothing to damage. The arrow goes between the layers. When you shoot at the sides, there is a cover, and it gets holes and some damage like any other target. The only con is the paint used for the dots and the black hole whirl--it faded quickly on the front, and there is nothing painted at the pack. So the markings are not that easy to see. Might need to use some white electric tape or draw a target on paper and attach it at some point. Also, it is so light. I hung it, and then, to prevent the target spinning incontrollably, I had to screw two screws at the bottom where I tied some wire loops, and these I can tie to the sides, so that the target stays oriented the same way. Or else you may need to put something behind it. With my 50#+ recurve, plenty of arrows poke at the back, and so if I have another target at the back for support, I make holes in that target as well, which is not ideal. And if there is nothing behind this target, then there has to be a way to anchor it, so it does not spin uncontrollably.

Generally in the UK an out of stock item, so some delay from ordering from UK - but a quality product that saves me from buying cheaper and less resilient archery foam blocks (which I need two of to stop even my 30 lb recurve practise bow) every 2-3 weeks. This has so far taken a quite a lot of punishment from my other 55 lb draw weight recurve - with some wear, but no decrease in stopping power. Great product, very impressed - and cheaper than the alternatives in the long run, and by some margin. Wish it was easier to obtain in the UK., ordered another after just 2 weeks of use because it is the best target for home use I have found by far; but am aware of lead time from ordering - don't want to have to have to go back to the ones I had been using before, which are pretty much totally destroyed in about 2 weeks max.

Supero mis expectativas mi arco compuesto esta a 50lbs y la flecha NO lo atraviesa. exelente para practicar en casa o en espacios no muy grandes. Ligero y fácil de transportar.

Great item. Works as advertised. Lightweight, so very portable. Only one note that is not mentioned in product info, fixed blade broadsheets can be pulled back out but folding mechanicals need to be pushed through. Minimal effect on cutting edges as well, so broadheads can be used to hunt even after tuning.
