Outstanding product and price
Once again, Meross have pulled it out of the bag with these two nifty Wi-Fi controlled in line switch units.I have just used these in an attic project to control LED spotlights that I have just put into the ceiling. The switch units are small enough to tuck away, but not so small that it's a trouble to hold them while you set them up.I grabbed an old figure of 8 cable lopped of the end and used that to configure each of the units before I placed them inline as I knew it would be easier to pre-set them up, but you don't have to do that.So simple with clearly marked input and output connections which sit under easily removable covers that just slide off (but can be secured with provided screws after). Setting them up in the Meross control application was like setting any of the other products up. A nice step by step guide to installing from scratch covering how to connect them to your phone and then picking up your home wifi during the config. The wifi signal can be seen on the app, and even with mine in the attic behind some seriously large pieces of wood the signal is great. They are impressively quick to respond to the on off commands. I have one circuit controlling 4 LED spotlights and another controlling 8 LED spotlights. With Meross's scene option (in the app), I can club them together in one system where I want to turn on/off both circuits controlling all 12 lights at the same time. For my project, I have a Flic button set-up through IFTTT, which works a dream through the Meross integration with IFTTT.For less than £15 for two, these are an absolute bargin. Built to the great standard which I have come to expect from Meross. Highly, highly recommended for any project.

Works well, but electrically hazardous
I have a love/hate relationship with this switch. Once installed it works beautifully, but as a piece of engineering it is poor to the point of being dangerous.1. It states it can handle power appliances up to 10A at 250v, but the terminals are so close together and so small that it is impossible to put thick power-rated (I.e.15 amp) cable into it without risking a flash-over. The small terminals also make it difficult to insert the thicker wires without cutting some filaments back, and it is impossible to use the good practice of crimping the wires. Even soldering the ends is difficult.2. There is no facility to handle three core wiring with a bypass for the earth wire. I had to take the earth wire out through the screw holes for the caps, which prevented using both screws for each end.3. The description for the product states that it can be used for timer, with 'sunset and sunrise' built in. I could find nothing in the Meross software that handles this; I had to use IFTTT routines to control anything other than a simple off/on through Alexa. There is no program documentation, and the screen descriptions are limited: it has Scenes, which I suspect can be used for some of the control functions, but there is no description of how to use them. The product documentation is about the size of six large UKpostage stamps, so is of little help.In summary, it would be fine for thin two-core wiring like bell wires or table lamps, but beware trying to use it for main appliances.

Much better than Sonoff
I purchased these to power up my new outdoor wall lights and have been very impressed. Due to restraints with the wiring two of my outdoor downlights are on one circuit, and the third downlight is on a different circuit. I wanted a solution that would have all lights come on at exactly the same time. With these devices, all three lights come on at Sunset at exactly the same time, and go off at Sunrise together too.For my application the Wifi modules have been installed in 35mm deep backboxes in the wall, covered by a blanking plate. This is located next to a switched FCU (Fused Connection Unit) spurred off the ring main, protected by 3A Fuse. I used 1.5mm twin and earth cable and found it easy to terminate into the small connector blocks. Earthing is easily achieved in my case with some Wago connectors. My install of these was somewhat more professional than what they may be designed for but overall for the price, extremely happy.

Great value for low power applications.
I like my Osram LED Outdoor light but it wasn't smart so I had considered replacing it. This little device came to the rescue as it is small enough to fit into the stem of my outdoor light. Works well, easy install and setup. I would suggest keeping to low power applications such as lighting - as others state, the terminals are small and can't be tightened very much as they feel like they might break. Very pleased for the price & would happily buy more. The app seems OK though I have connected to Alexa so am using its routines rather than the Meross app. The app does seem to support specific times in addition to sunset/sunrise. I would have preferred not to have to install the app but I don't think alexa will find the switches without connecting through the app.

Upgrade 100% complete
These modules are easy to install. The app is great and allows you to switch on and off anything you have this attached to.The routine function allows to set timers to automatically turn anything on and off. I set routine my for security lights and outdoor garden lights.
