This product is not durable. Only lasted three days of minimal use.

The kids loved it (5 & 8yr olds) lasted almost two weeks before it lost a leg in an unprovoked shark attack, which due to its chambered design meant it was rendered useless and resulted in the shark being removed from the pool.Luckily I had also bought my industrial duct tape on holiday (as well as the cable ties and 20m of paracord, explain that to Spanish customs) so with some quick surgical skills he was back up and going minus one leg.Good for gentle play, not so suited to killer great white hunting tactics from underneath.

The media could not be loaded.  bought it for my kids to use on holiday. although they are very good swimmer, I prefer them to have something hold on to while they Snoorlking.The trip to the Caribbean was wonderful. Children were using this floating turtle swimming in the shallow sea.

Blew this up about 4 weeks ago for an outside pool. The head and main body has a separate inflating port from the shell bit of the body. Took about 10 mins to inflate with an electric inflater. Kids loved them - had only bought one but they fought over it so much, bought a second one. Very sturdy - survived kids launching themselves onto them repeatedly and quite a lot of rough play. Great to use as a shield in water fights in the pool. Still 90% inflated now when I am packing it all away. Hoping it will survive in storage until next year. Definitely recommended.

This was bought as a birthday present for my daughter and it was love at first sight. Unfortunately, after three days of pretty gentle play in the pool, me of Lil’ Sea turtle’s flippers came adrift and was more Lil’ Flat Turtle. It’s a real shame as Intex stuff is usually good quality, but the design is flawed for its purpose.Luckily, the repair parches they supply are decent so I’ve patched the hole left behind the amputated flipper. Hopefully should hold but I expected better.

I've just read some of the other reviews of this, and there are several people who experienced the same problem as we did, ie one of the flippers comes off. We had one four year old and one six year old using this in the pool for one day only before the flipper parted company with the body. The thing was still fully inflated, but the stitching/glue was clearly too weak. I didn't bother bringing it back from Spain with me. I would like a refund, but as I can't return it this seems unlikely. Buyer beware..... this is a common problem.
