These were an affordable option for a Halloween egg hunt vs the pricier pumpkin ones, they were smaller but I was ok with that. The problem was that the gold coating covered the seal of the eggs (these are gold coated rainbow eggs). A few broke in the process of trying to pop them open. Fortunately I saved some with a little tape, and the kids didn’t have trouble opening them afterwards.

These looked great on the Amazon website. But when they showed up I was quickly disappointed. They are regular green eggs painted over. Which I thought they were possibly painted. However, the paint was already coming off. See picture. You end up with gold flaking all over your hands etc. I am disappointed in the overall quality of the product.

Really poor quality. Looks like regular plastic eggs with some sort of foil layered over them. The foil peals and chips off. Definitely would NOT use them with children.

I perhaps should have read some reviews. These are brittle and very poor quality. Four of the eggs came broken, all of them, the paint was chipping off. The eggs were stuck together with the gold flaking paint, pop the open and all the paint flakes off. I'm not sure these would even find themselves in a dollar store.

The gold is really pretty, but I was missing 3 1/2 eggs from the package. Not sure how to contact the seller about this. I'll probably just return the whole package.

Perfect condition and came in just in time for my party. The gold was a pop of color I needed!
