WEN LA4275 2.75-Inch 4-Jaw Self-Centering Keyed Lathe Chuck Set with 1-Inch x 8TPI Thread

Fantastic little chuck! These Wen chucks are made really, really well- can't beat them for the price!

Excellent quality, fit, and finish.

The pen jaw chucks are great for the money. There are some tooling marks on mine but for their price I can't complain to much. That's why I took off a star 1) They work on the LA4275 Chuck. WEN makes this clear in the description that it works with the LA4275 Chuck. Amazon says it's frequently bought with the LA4444 4" Chuck. Whether it works with that chuck I can't say but WEN does not state that in the description. 2) They work for small projects and I wouldn't try and use them for anything much more than making pens and pencils. They are pen chucks after all so why would you use them for anything else? You might find another use for them but just consider that a bonus. 3) You also have to remove the attachments to the chuck that are already on it so you already have the screws neccessary to use the chucks. Just reuse the screws that were already on the chuck and you're good to go.

I was pleased when I opened the box for this little 2.75 lathe chuck, Very nice finish on the parts and works very smoothly. I'll be ordering more lathe accessories from Wen soon.

Jaws fit on chuck just fine and solid strong. But the chuck doesn't open far enough to put in a normal size pen blank. As shown in attached pics. To use these jaws for drill pen blanks, they better be smaller than the average 3/4 x 3/4 blank.

This chuck works and holds the work firmly but it isn’t assembled true. There is a very slight wobble which makes it impossible to remove work and replace it to continue working on it. Every time you put it back on it will be slightly different. It’s disappointing but I don’t think replacing would make it any better.

Like all things WEN, it seems to be a good value. It fits onto the WEN adjustable chuck for the line of WEN lathes. Solid construction and made without defects as far as I can tell.

It is very accurate as long as the wood is square on the mounting end! Guess my chop saw needs to be adjusted back to square. I'm loving the chuck for my wood lathe, I make a lot of smaller things on the lathe! Just need to buy some more jaws to hold smaller diameter items.

Placa perfeita e preço excelente. Marca chinesa que compete no mercado americano, qualidade excelente. Fiquem atentos as medidas e não confundam com placas grandes, ela tem 69mm de diâmetro. Mas não deixa de ser um excelente produto para uso com mini tornos e peças pequenas, meu torno tem apenas 10 x 18 polegadas, ela é perfeita pra ele, se seu torno for relativamente maior, talvez ela não seja o que esteja procurando. No vídeo a peça dá uma leve oscilada mas porque coloquei rápido apenas para gravar para a avaliação, quis mostrar como os mordentes prendem as peças tanto por dentro como por fora.

Chuck was a very good price and delivery quick. Have allready used to drill holes through pen blanks for fitting of brass tubes. Works very well even though there are larger chucks to purchase BUT at a much higher price
