THIS ONE !!!
I bought one of these well over a decade ago...It was my first spotting scope...Over the years I've tried others, from cheap to expensive, and none could hold a candle to this one...One of them was a fixed 15× magnification...That one had a light metal body, and the magnification swivel was on the end of it...It was awkward to use, and didn't clarify well...That one gets a "garbage" rating...Another one I only tried because it won some award...That one was a 10x to 30x magnification...That one didn't clarify at all above 10x, and the 2 swivels were too easy to move and overall it was just an awkward scope...All were a complete waste of money...I learned my lesson, and stuck with this scope...At one point I had three of them... This one really surprised me, and still does, for what you get for the money... It is rock solid...With the hard rubber body, it can really take a beating...The rubber also makes it easier to hold without slipping, and more comfortable overall... The swivel is strong and takes some effort to move it...This, to me, is a good thing...I can rest my finger or fingers on it (depending on how I'm holding it) without fear that I just blurred it... Another selling point (for me) is the inclusion of a lanyard...Not because I ever use the lanyard though...With all of mine I wrap the lanyard tight around the body, and seal it shut with "florist's tape"...It's a waxed tape that only sticks to itself, and is waterproof...Anyway, the reason I like the lanyard hole is because it is situated perfectly to easily position your fingers with it to make a perfect 3 point contact against your face... An easy way to hold it is to push your middle finger against the lanyard bump with the hand that will go around your eye, leaving your index finger free to make the adjustments...With the supporting hand you push your index finger against it...On the bottom your thumbs connect... This spotting scope gives you clarity you simply wouldn't believe for the price...It has outshined every one I've tried... One last thing...This powerhouse comes in a very compact body !!! (see picture) I couldn't be more satisfied with this scope... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Good luck !!!

Weak magnification
It's lightweight and takes up little room. Does not appear reach true 10x magnification

Good Auxiliary Scope
I am in charge of several tower sites for my job, plus I get asked to check on others' towers from time to time. If I can't find a tower climber quickly I have two choices...climb the tower myself (not gonna happen!) or use a scope to look at it. Problem is, carrying the larger scopes gets to be problematic and if I'm not in a work vehicle I often don't have one handy, so I needed something that would easily fit in my glove compartment or pocket to give me a quick analysis of a potential problem. By no means will it replace my larger scopes, but if it looks like trouble I'll haul out one of the larger devices. You DO need a steady hand, and focus & aiming can be a problem, but once you get used to it it's really pretty easy to use, and with 10x it brings you up pretty close. I really like the rubber coating too, makes it less slippery with wet hands, and won't be a cold piece of metal on my eye in the winter. I also like the case, keeps it clean when not in use and it will loop on your belt if you have a whole day of service. All in all, for the price it's a pretty useful tool.

Good to travel but a little weak
Like to bring this along with me when I travel and while it’s nice and small and good for most uses, the optics aren’t as clearer as I’ve seen other brands. Of course, if I were to lose or break this one I wouldn’t lose any sleep.

Practically useless
I bought this monocular for simple usage when heading out to the light woods and open areas, etc The focus is horrible, does not zoom into anything, and I seem to see things clearer and better when using my naked eye. This might be useful for kids wanting a toy monocular, but for practical purposes; useless I do NOT recommend this product, invest a little more money and buy a better monocular. Took it out to a trip once, now is collecting dust in my garage, will never use again.

Great value!
This is an overall excellent value. Quality: I like the fit and finish an awful lot. The coating feels great, and it can take a lot of shock. The case is typical nylon, nothing special, but considering this is a lighter object, it's up to the job. The image is very good. Only drawback is that it has inferior reflection characteristics. It can be difficult to make out details in low light, or to see astral objects (not that the zoom was serious enough for much astronomy). Function: The 10X zoom is just at the edge, for me, of what's useful without being so much zoom that it's difficult to hold steady. Remember: you'll only be using one hand to steady this. Too much zoom and that becomes shaky. It's nice and light, and as useful as a good set of binoculars, but easier to use in many respects. Even if you're using much better optics, such as a rifle scope, binoculars, telescope or a nice camera, this is an excellent aid in understanding your far surroundings quickly and easily to identify something you want to use the other optics to see. It's also good for many uses on its own. Birdwatching, ballet or theatre, exploring, etc. For the dollar, it's one of the best.

It's small and light and yet very powerful
I purchased this monocular with sailing in mind. I am often not able to run below deck to grab the large binoculars in order to spot the marks or other boats in the waters of the Tampa Bay area. I will either wear a fanny pack and place the monocular in it or put the strap around my neck and tuck the monocular inside my sports bra inside my t-shirt. It is so light and small that it doesn't bother me at all and is always handy. I had the pirate spyglass in mind and was a slight bit disappointed when I found it didn't extend but soon realized it didn't need to.

Bleh
Bleh glass. Bright daylight use only. Honestly you might be better off just squinting. Bought a vortex monocular to replace this.

1ER MONOCULO QUE TENGO. ESTETICAMENTE EL ACABADO PUEDE MEJORAR UN POCO PERO ESTA DE ACUERDO A LO QUE PAGAS POR EL. PUEDO VER CLARAMENTE LAS PLACAS DE UN VEHICULO A 1 1/2 CUADRA DE DISTANCIA (150 MTS). NO LO COMPARES CON LOS BINOCULARES O TENDRAS UN SENTIMIENTO DE INSATISFACCION, ADEMAS ASEGURATE DE COMPRENDER LAS ESPECIFICACIONES (LOS AUMENTOS Y LA ABERTURA O DIAMETRO DEL LENTE).
