This is an excellent substitute for Japanese ramen noodles at home
This is an excellent substitute for Japanese ramen noodles at home. The closest ramen house is almost 2 hours away so you can imagine that I don't get to go there often. Ramen cravings just used to go on and on. I decided to give these noodles a chance and I am very glad I did. The noodles themselves are what seal the deal for me. They cook up to a slightly chewy texture which is so close to what you would find at a ramen house and they are nothing like all the other instant ramen brands I've tried so far. I couldn't believe it. Even accidently overcooking them didn't make them soggy in the slightest. The soup base is delicious, though on the salty side. The aroma as the miso paste hits the boiling water is wonderful and I like the toasted sesame seeds and sesame oil that are also part of the flavor and seasoning packets. This is definitely something I would purchase again. I can't wait to try some of the other flavors.

Best packaged ramen brand, hands down
This company makes the best packaged instant ramen, hands down. Most instant ramen brands lack depth of flavor and have a somewhat chemically taste to them, and I’ve tried them all- Maruchan, Sapporo Ichiban, Top Ramen, Oodles of Noodles, other Nissin ramen... not this brand. The miso is my personal favorite flavor (it’s high in sodium tho, be forewarned), but I also love their oriental (salt) and soy flavors too. It’s definitely pricier than most other packaged ramen, but it’s worth the extra cost to me. When I can’t get to a ramen house, this is definitely my go-to.

Expires in less than a month
I was upset to get a large box of these with an expiration for next month.

Very tasty
Very tasty and quick. I don't use all of the seasoning package because it's so salty, but use nearly all of the liquid seasoning. Slightly fermented, fishy flavor I expected, much like Korean food. Once I even doubled the water to save half as broth to cook pilaf in, and that was also awesome!

Decent Quality Ramen
This is one of the few instant ramen brands I like. More expensive than going to an Asian market and picking some up there but with being unable to leave the house during quarantine, I guess the bigger price is for convenience. The expiration date was months out so didn't risk getting an expired or almost expired product!

Makes a huge bowl of soup
This one was quite nice. It calls for 2.5 cups of water so its super filling. The noodles were better than average ramen. The Broth was tasty. It has a soup base and liquid topping. Had a lot going on for a cheap ramen. Not the best I've had in the price range but I would buy it again.

Best instant noddle
Myojo Chukazanmai is definitely not the cheapest among instant noddle. It is actually expensive in my standard. However, it definitely is one of the best out there. The texture of their noddle is really good. The taste of their soup is just right. It does take longer to cook compare with other instant noddle, around 5 min. vs 3 min. for most other brands. Cook it with vegetable, meat or your favorite ingredients, and you have a meal better than most Asian restaurant out there. Really well worth the time and money, and a bargain compare with how much you have to paid eating outside.
