Is this battery pack made with C batteries are D batteries?

Sorry it took so long... They are the size of "D" batteries in diameter... It is one solid long tube & looks like 5 "C" but I checked and the diameter as well as the flashlight itself takes (3) size "D" regular batteries too... :D Hope this helps.

Yes but not fully charged. The instructions say to fully charge it before use
