The Burgtec MK4 Composite Flat Pedals are everything you’d expect from a Burgtec pedal but at a more affordable price point. Uncompromised grip, rugged durability, the exact same sculpted simple lines, fully backed up with spares and at an affordable price. The best of both worlds can exist.

Fantastic on my mountain bike, great grip even with normal shoes
Fantastic flat pedals - installed on my mountain bike and grip is much improved. Wouldn't want to scrape my shin down them mind you but that's not a fault of the pedals. Great if you're unsure about clipless.

Very grippy
Been using these for nearly a year now and just got around to leaving a review. Love them. Still working well after a lot of use. No creaks and grip well, especially with some 5 tens, I’ve not slipped since getting these.

Good quality pedals
I ride trail and enduro, these pedals are light, grip flat shoes nicely and have taken the odd clip against rocks and barely look scuffed, and I haven't lost a pin yet.

Sturdy pedal
i was hesitant buying a composite pedal but they have been bomb proof so far including a few pedal strikes.they still look good and are very light.

good buy
I bought these as I'm not confident enough to use cleats. I am a road rider but use mtb shoes. very comfortableI've done 70 miles so far with these pedals, far superior than the standard pedals on my Treck 7.4. very happyso far.

poor build quality.
unfortunately the material they're made from is not strong enough for hard riding. I've only been riding with these for 3 months and I've already destroyed one of the pedals (a large part of the actual pedal has broken off). which is a shame as the grip and feel of them is very good.I'm going back to my old shimano saints as they are tried and tested.

Super grippy
These are great flat pedals that are super grippy with my ET5 Shimano trainers.Really important and reduces shin injury from pedals.

Excellent and grippy but maybe don't get white.
As excellent as always.Pins are if anything, a little too grippy initially but I know they wear down over time. Not sure I'd recommend the white ones to anyone though as even just riding on roads, they get filthy from shoe dirt in about 5 seconds.
