Graphic novels are really growing on me since they are so fast and efficient in covering the content in the novel. Clary and Jace are still told they are siblings?m, but Clary starts to doubt it. Simon goes under a big change and a Valentine reveals some of his plans to Jace…

Follows the original story well as an abridged series. This is roughly the first half on book 2 in TMI. I only gave it 4 stars since the graphic novel adds very little extra to what you get in the chapter book. It's a good read for when you want to refresh your mind of the major points from TMI and don't have the time.

No le pongo 5 estrellas porque llego un poco golpeada en los bordes pero nada grave, estas novelas graficas son bonitas y faciles de leer. Ideal para cuando estas aprendiendo ingles.

If you’re like me you love the mortal instruments series and have read all the books a bunch of times! This is just a faster way of rereading them but with comics! I love it!

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of Cassandra Clare and the whole Clary and Jace still liking each other despite thinking they are siblings is not my cup of tea; but I love Cassandra Jean and that's why I wanted to give the chance to this version of the Mortal Instruments.The art is great as I expected and they also included colored pages that are beautiful. My biggest problem isn't even the story itself (as I knew what this was about), the problem is the storytelling. They are trying to summarize each book in 2 volumes and you can tell. They move from one location to a completely different one in a couple of panels, they expect you to assume a lot (or maybe to read the novels first) and everything feels rushed. I do know for a fact that storytelling isn't Cass Jean's forte, so maybe it's her fault or maybe Cass Clare is the one in charge of it, I don't know. It could be a bad editor as well, who knows.The point is, the storytelling is definitely an area of improvement. I just hope that it improves on future volumes

This are my absolute favorite book series and Cassandra Jean captures every part perfect. I truly love her work and cannot wait for the next part!

Absolutely love these adaptations. It's wonderful to see Cassandra's art grow with each volume. It is the truest adaptation of my favourite series of books and just lovely to see such great versions of the characters on paper.

Love Cassandra Clare and Cassandra Jean!!! Great pictures and love the books!! I have the others of this series and when this book was out I had to get it so I did!! Although, I was disappointed that they got rid of a bit of the book (Jace and clary talk after they went to the courts).

Ainda não li esse Graphic novel, mas sou apaixonada pelo universo da Cassandra Clare e os traços da Cassandra Jean me conquistaram de um jeito! Acho que é uma excelente maneira de iniciar a leitura em inglês com quadrinhos que ajudam a compreender o contexto. Cada livro de instrumentos mortais corresponde a dois Graphic novels, então essa é a primeira parte de cidade das cinzas

Me daba miedo que llegase con los bordes doblados pero llegó en perfecto estado. Los dibujos de Cassandra Jean son preciosos, este libro no puede faltar en tu estanteria! Solo es la mitad del segundo libro Ciudad de Cenizas, la segunda parte es el volumen tres, es decir, los libros se dividen en dos volumenes.
