This blanket is super easy to set up, it comes with four stakes and a stake pocket in one of its corners so you can store the blanket and the stakes together once you're done using them for convenience, and that's a plus because it's harder to lose the pieces.It's a big blanket, we put three chairs on them, my daughter's beach toys, my camera, books, it was big enough for my family of three.It's thin and has a cool fabric. It's also durable. My German shepherd was running on it with his big paws and nails and at one point he tried to dig a hole on the blanket, but the blanket resisted his big nails.I would recommend this product, it's a life saver.

I felt a tiny bit silly taking this on a trip when we tried so hard to pack light, but once I used it at the beach I was sold. Previous trip I got lots of bites from something (fleas?) in the sand while I sat and read, so this let us all stretch out and still not have feet in the sand and no sand in books, etc. It was super easy to put down with the pegs, although if there is a good breeze put something on it or use two people or it might blow away while you're trying to get a couple pegs in, just because it's so light it catches the wind. (It's made of parachute material I think). It was easy to shake off later and stuff it all back into the corner pocket. Totally worth the space it took up in the suitcase!

So far, this is our favorite beach blanket of all time. We've only had it about two weeks, but have taken it to the beach for all day use (9-5pm) in front of our beach tent 5 or 6 times and it's fantastic! It's easy to brush sand off, stays put well, repels water and drys very quickly if we've sat on it soaking wet and is the easiest park of set up and breakdown in the day as well as being super light weight! I do anchor the front corners under our beach tent, which helps in high winds, but the stakes and sand pockets work really well. Now to see if the color and stiching stand up to our heavy beach use over time! (We are10 min from the beach and swim and participate in water sports regularly.) Will update!

Edit: Aug. 14, 2019. After posting this review, I rcvd an email from the manufacturer. They offered to send a second blanket. The new one has solidly sewn tie-down loops. It was quick and they were very nice. I gave it one more star, now 4.*****Well. It's very cute.One corner loop came off on the first day, as we were setting up, prior to use! The little plastic stakes would not go into compact beach sand. On the second trip we bought new metal tent stakes. It's essentially parachute/kite material and wants to fly away as you try to get it down on the ground and then staked down. Literally, I lay on it spread-eagle while he mad-dashes around trying to get the corners secured. If its windy you need to secure some edges, too.The pouch it comes in is sewn onto the blanket itself, so there's isn't really any folding so much as cram the blanket into the pouch. But that way the pouch doesn't get lost. It has a nice zippered corner pocket to put keys, phones in, out of sight.It basically doesn't get wet. Just damp and dries immediately. Sand doesn't stick at all or come thru the bottom. Also, sand blows/brushes off the top and shakes off easily when you're ready to go.It is very thin so you also need a towel to sit/lay on to be comfortable.Overall, I like it. I feel like the quality, for a 7x9' blanket, suggested a $12.99 or $14.99 price not the $19.99 that I paid... but, yeah, okay.

For the price, I am very impressed with the quality and utility of this product. You can use it for lying on the beach or out for a picnic. It folds up very easily and ACTUALLY FITS IN THE BAG, this is huge as I have bought products in the past that you basically had to be a master of folding to get it back in the bag! The stakes work well, could be a bit more sturdy, but they work for what I use it for. Dries quickly. Solid color!

This blanket is nice and big. Perfect for a picnic or taking to the beach to sit on. The nylon fabric is very lightweight. There are yellow plastic anchors provided so that the blanket stays put. One of the corners has a zipper pocket so you can stash small items like maybe a key or a wallet (that will help keep the blanket down as well). Then when you're done withe the blanket it all rolls back up neatly into the attached bag - no losing the bag when it's sewn right on. Bright cheery color too. I like this purchase.

Used this at the beach. Worked as anticipated. Sand shook right off. Stakes held down the blanket even with the beach breeze. Very easy to fold back up into the pouch which is attached so you can’t lose it. Beware- because it is so lightweight, it is definitely easier if 2 people lay it down and stake because it does blow around before you secure it. But afterwards, it’s great. Folds up small so easily fits it your bag. Washed wonderfully also.

Seriously, best Amazon lightning deal ever purchased. I love how it folds into it's own attached pocket, is lightweight and water proof. I bought it late in the summer so I haven't tested the sand durability but I have used it to wrap around myself during cold baseball games in the fall and had so many comments on how folks loved it! Looking forward to trying it next summer.
