EDIT 021823: 5-Stars only if you are using it to limit your daily sugar intake (I don’t believe there’s anything else unless you want to use measuring spoons)…. 4-Stars because the mechanism is complicated, and it really only works with white sugar that does not clump up. It’s possible completely bleached white sugar will work, but I don’t use this sugar.. I’ve been using wholesome cane sugar (basically white sugar, but with a slight brownish tint of not being completely refined).. The 1/4 teaspoon measurement is a pain because it’s never consistent.. I switched to the 1/2 teaspoon, and it seems to be working very well.. The mechanism is rather complicated. It works for me, but I could see people breaking it in frustration, swapping out the plastic sugar measure thing (just take your time and figure it out, don’t force any of the delicate plastic parts). I suggest taking a few pictures with your iPhone as you take it apart.. [original review]: (guessing 2y ago).. At first I was annoyed because it wasn’t working with the raw sugar. But that is not the fault of this sugar dispenser. Because raw sugar always cakes up, even in conventional sugar dispensers (i use sugar in the raw). Shaking it (to break up the clumping sugar) does add one extra step, but it’s still adds convenience for my daily coffee IMHO.. This device has a small footprint which is another plus. I’m not sure if raw sugar would work for the smaller sizes (there are at least three different plastic things you can put in that exactly measure how much sugar comes out.. I use 1/2 teaspoon size). I suggest taking pictures of it when you take it apart to clean it or change the sugar dispensing size. Putting it back together could be a problem.. But this is the price we pay for the convenience of dispensing an exact amount of sugar.

I had bought this dispenser mainly because I wanted to minimize the sugar mess on my counter. I had been using a spoon to transfer sugar from a dish into my coffee mug. And more often than not I would spill some. When I first got this, I thought it was a 5 star item. But after a bit more usage, I have had to remove stars. Here's the positives: + It does appear to dose out the selected amount consistently. Other dispensers that dispense from the top, requiring you to tip the container to fill the dispensing nozzle seem to become unreliable as the container empties because less sugar is able to make it into the dispenser before you finish tipping. This dispenses from the bottom. It utilizes a "bottomless bucket" type of dispensing method. When the lever is pressed, the bucket slides over to a hole in the base, allowing the sugar in the "bucket" to empty. + It does lead to a lot less sugar on my counter. But it's not 100% clean. See the negatives. + It holds a decent amount. I use 2 teaspoons per 2 coffee cups per day. I have to refill every 2+ weeks. This seems reasonable. + I have not had a use yet for the sprinkle/pour feature. However, these are nice additions to have and I think can be useful. Here's the negatives: - After using it for a while, I have found that pressing the lever to dispense the sugar actually grinds the sugar a little. When the sugar becomes fine enough, it actually escapes the container from the space between the lever and the container. So while there is over all less sugar spilled on my counter, I do now have powdered sugar on my counter about once every couple of days. - After the first couple of uses, I had decided that I wanted to dispense a smaller amount. I found that changing bucket with sugar in the dispenser is very difficult and messy. After spilling a lot of sugar, I dumped it all out in order to change the bucket. All this despite trying to be very careful to not make a mess. I think this would be a much better product if the buckets could be cleanly and easily swapped out...or even better if you didn't have to swap out the buckets but just chose which one to dispense from. - Removing the top to refill is also cumbersome. The lid is kept on with two tabs (the longer black parts on opposite sides, as you can see in the product picture). The body has a ridge that fits into a notch in the lid. This is what keeps the lid on. If not careful, it seems that it would be easy to crack/break the lid when trying to remove it. Getting one tab high enough to clear the ridge before you can get the other tab up puts pressure on the second tab. That pressure also makes the second tab harder to pull up over it's ridge. Over all a decent enough product. Certainly not perfect. When it does come time to replace this, I will likely look for something better. But until then, this one does the job good enough.

My Zevro EMY100 dispenser broke after two days of use. the handle that control the outflow just pop out completely and I was not able to insert it back to the unit. I orginially purchased two(2) dispensers, one for creamer and one for sugar, after I filled them with coffee creamer and sugar, it keep leaking out from where the handle meets the body. Even after discovering the fact that it's leaking the content when I simply move it around I decided to give it a try because I adored the design of the product so much. But when the handle pop out of the dispenser this morning I was really angry, two days only. Zevro have many products, and they seem to only care about the look but not the function of their products. I purchsed a set of wall mount cereal dispenser from Zevro before, and the unit look so pretty on my wall, but soon I found out the tube that contains the cereal is far from secured to it's wall unit, in other word, a little tap would make the tube fall off from the wall mount piece, and two out of the three tubes actually fell on my kitchen floor and breaks because my daughter brush against the dispenser. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ZEVRO, I WOULDN'T AGAIN!!!!!

I use baking soda daily to brush my teeth and as a deodorant. i needed a dispenser that would dispense a standard amount. PROS: 1. The unit is pretty 2. It seems fairly well constructed 3. Lever action is smooth and easy 4. Refilling is easy 5. Volume easily visible 6. Has dispensing spouts on top. A twist of the cap selects either off, open hole or grated hole. 7. Seems to seal well against moisture and air. CONS: 1. Changing sizes is not intuitive but simple once you understand it. 2. 1/4 TS size would not work with baking soda. 1/2 and 1 works fine. I would have preferred the 1/4 TS size for dispensing baking soda but somehow that size did not dispense. It may be that baking soda does not flow as smooth as sugar or salt and thus needs a larger opening for smooth flow. Overall I really like this unit and I believe that it will last for years.

The idea is good, the look is nice for my coffee bar, but using it has its issues. I bought 2 one for white sugar and one for raw sugar. I did not buy it for the measuring out feature but for the clean look and the one button release of the sugar. So if the measuring feature is important for you for accuracy for diet etc, I'm not sure this is exact measurements. I keep the 1/2tsp measure in the white sugar and 1 tsp for the raw sugar since it's granules are much bigger. If you want this for constantly changing between measurements, this is not the product for you, because it's not an easy switch between measurements. You have to open the device to it. Also the instructions suck for the product and made my go searching on the web for videos on how to change the measuring cups. Hint: The little black open knobs needs to actually come out for the handle to open so you can change the measuring cups. Not in trying to use this thing, your first press on the button will give you your shot of sugar, maybe (50/50 shot) of getting the second shot of sugar, after ever shot after that will be less and less. Why because sugar gets stuck and prevents the handle from measuring out the sugar properly. So the tip or tweak we figured out is that after use push of the button turn the product upside down completely, then back, then press the button again to dispense the full amount of measured sugar. When you turn the dispenser upside down the sugar clears out where the handle is so the sugar can measure out properly in the cup again. Since we figured this little tweak the product is now working and manageable. I did figure this out when after I bought the first one, and tried it out for a week before ordering another one for our white sugar. This little tweak in the work flow doesn't bother either my husband or myself, but it might bother others to do this. We thought it was a good compromise for a inexpensive product and the nice clean look. Just make sure you keep the top of the dispenser in the closed position. The top does have a sprinkle opening and a full pour opening as well as fully closed. The sprinkle holes are fine for white sugar and a bit more heaving shaking required for raw sugar since the granules are bigger. I wouldn't say the top sprinkle holes are ideal for raw sugar without a whole like or vigorous shaking, but the pour opening would be fine for raw sugar. It feels a little cheaply made and not sure if the top lid will last being securely fitted after constantly opening to fill the sugar. But will post with update when it fails.

Do you want a nice looking container that will dispense miralax powder, one tsp at a time? This is for you! With a slow transit time comes all kinds of GI issues and a Dr telling you to take miralax for the rest of your life. Yay, menopause! I don't want a big purple bottle on my table, but if I don't see my meds, I forget to take them. Yay, ADHD! So what's a person to do? Buy one of these! Put the tsp unit in the bottom of this pretty container and fill with miralax powder, then squeeze however many times you need for your maintenance dose. FYI: a 1 tsp squeeze = about 3 grams of miralax powder. I read reviews saying it makes a mess and gets sugar everywhere. I have no idea how far away these folks are holding this thing from their cups, but I do not have this issue. I hold it over my cup of water and all of the meds go right in. Perfect every time. I hope it lasts forever!

Great for sugar, or any granulated type spice that doesnt clump to itself. Not great for finer powders like cornstarch or flour. Tried it out with creatine powder, which is close to cornsrarch in consistency, but that is too fine and tends to clump to itself so it doesnt fall into the resevoir for dispensing without some shaking. Then trying to dispense it youd have to smack it a couple of times to get the powder to let go.

Dosatore zucchero utilissimo, facile nel montaggio, bello di estetica, facile da usare, lo utilizzo spesso e funziona benissimo in più si può dosare lo zuccherò a scelta, con dei misurini in dotazione. mi piace ed è stato delle mie aspettative.

Nettes Spielzeug zum Zuckerportionieren. Ist das Ding mal zusammengebaut und eingestellt ein richtiger Hingucker. Allerdings ist der Zusammenbau und das wieder befüllen ein wenig frimelig. Der Preis ist schon Hardcore. Aber ich wollt es unbedingt haben und portionieren nun unseren Zucker wie Süßstoff. Einmal draufdrücken und die gewünschte Menge kommt raus.

Il dosatore è ben fatto, anche nelle rifiniture, funziona bene ed è molto comodo. E' dotato di 3 misurini con dosaggi diversi.
