The Underwater Alphabet Book (Jerry Pallotta's Alphabet Books)

I had a previous copy and read it to key daughter starting at age 3. We read it so much we wore out the book and practically memorized it. She is now 13, and I bought a replacement on Amazon as a cheezy surprise...it brought years to her eyes as I told her it is for her child someday. Wonderful pictures, educational, and can be read front to back at bedtime.

I can't say enough great things about these books. Jerry Pallotta has a unique take on the "ABC" type books you usually see for kids. These are not just for learning the alphabet (and probably actually not intended for that at all) but are more of an encyclopedia of quick facts about the subject matter. My 3-year old LOVES this one and the others that he has -- He points out the letters of course, but also now knows what a Riojasaurus is (from the Dinosaur version), too! My husband and I even have learned from reading these to him. Highly recommended for an "outside of the box" ABC book.

My 4 almost 5 year old loves this book. He’s really into underwater creatures.

The two and a half year old I purchased this for, was not interested in this book. He usually sits and loves to look at all kinds of pictures. I think the book will be good for him when he is about 3 1/2 or 4 years old or older and learning the alphabet

Superb kids book. Bright and colorful to keep young ones attention and some of the names of the fish will have them giggling.

Love all his books!

A wonderfully fun way to teach not only the alphabet, but fish, other sea life and a few of the mysteries of the world's coral reefs. The children I work with never fail to CACKLE and GUFFAW when I get to letter H, and the Humu-Humu-Nuku-Nuku-Apua.

Love this book! As a teacher, I have been able to use it in multiple grade levels, both during habitat units of study and in lower grades as a fun alphabet book.
