CRAFTSMAN Deep Socket, SAE, 3/8-Inch Drive, 1/4-Inch, 6-Point (CMMT23144)

I purchased the 13/16 version and it worked for my needs to grab a nut at about 1 1/12 '' deep. The Socket depth to the nut was 1 1/14" but the bolt could extend in the hole past the nut depth another 1/4 inch. Past that is only a small hole about 1/4'' round.(Please note that the manufacturer is somewhat less that truthful in claiming that this is 2'' deep socket. It would indeed go 2" deep if the bolt was only a quarter inch in diameter. I have never seen a large 13/16'' nut on a small 1/4'' bolt).

Workes very well, a high-quality socket. As a professional, I used Craftsman tools almost exclusively. No failures of any kind. Cheap sockets don't usually work well and can break or slip while you are using them.

Got the 1/4” to take bolts out from my fridge. Unfortunately it didn’t fit, not the fault of the product. Then I discovered my screwdriver, the type with interchangeable bits, is a 1/4” socket. The skinny shaft fit and I used that to fix my fridge. So, product is good, but the user is questionable (in my case. Ymmv)

I was taking off a pto on the mower using a breaker bar and my original Craftsman socket split. I had it for several years and just ordered another one to have in my tool box. I also ordered an impact standard length socket to have in my box for those high torque jobs in the future. This socket had been fine for general use but don't use it for high torque requirements or on an impact wrench. It is not made for that. A good product though.

Got this deep socket to help remove a couple of bolts on my son's bike. I tried a different 'deep socket' at first, and it was just shy of being deep enough, so I ordered this one and it did the job! It feels durable and in my opinion it is priced right.

I'm using this on toggle switches that have the nut mounted too deep to get a wrench on.Nice and deep, works well. The smooth edge doesn't mar the panel surface.

The name Craftsman is synonymous with quality and I only purchase Craftsman hand, power and air tools

Not much to say other than it say socket that does the work I needed to do, seems to be good quality for weekend wrench turners.

Bought this to loosen/remove the plug to our RV hot water heater. Fits perfectly and the length makes getting it into a tight spot easy.
