I bought the book in 2006. I had seen the one copy of with larger letters in Kolkata book fair even earlier but unfortunately failed to purchase. Initially I gave not much importance to it and kept on purchasing and reading many big books searching for guidance about therapy and wellbeing until recently I realized that this book is all-encompassing and the ultimate guide. Anyone for varying need whether therapy or higher purpose may depend on the book and benefit even without any teacher,as it provides progressive programs for all with right time inclusion of yogic tools describing in great details eradicating any confusion an aspirant may have about what is actually necessary at any stage and how to practise safely whether it be cleansing techniques, asanas or pranayamas for steady progress with grace. So even other books apart from APBM by BSY are not necessary.
