Nice Staples
After reading many ratings about landscape pins, or sod staples I purchased these 4 inch staples. I used them to pin down landscape material for 1500 square feet of flower/shrub beds. People complain about some staples bending as they install them. I would recommend you test your soil prior to purchasing any staples. My soil was very sandy. If you have clay soil and it has been very dry, then it may be difficult to drive them into the ground. So bending may be an issue. You can use nails for hard soil. Just purchase the length you need. Hope this helps.

No rust, easy to move
So far so good. I’ve had them in soil for over 6 weeks now during a very rainy season with no signs of rust. Typically I buy longer prong garden stakes, but these have been doing well holding down weed barrier.

You get what you pay for
I used this product to make a garden in the front yard. Overall, you get what you pay for. They’re not as sturdy as others, but you pay much less. When trying to push them into the dirt , they fold up and sometimes become unusable. But , they still work if you undo the bends, just knowing they will not hold down like they’re meant to.

Works great for holding drip irrigation lines in place.
Works for what I need, which is to hold down drip irrigation lines (the cheap plastic ones that you get with the DIGG brand products are very flimsy. Another reviewer said the stated dimensions are wrong, and they are. The dimensions listed are of the packaging, not the anchors themselves. The anchors are about 4" x 1" each. The seller should correct this.

Oily residue, but gets the job done
i bought these to hold some netting down and they worked fine. In the clay soil they bent and weren't as steady but that's to be expected in hard soil. What wasn't expected was the metallic smell and oily residue. I would not recommend using these in a vegetable garden or around any trees that bear fruit without at least washing and scrubbing them. I'm sure it's just from whatever the manufacturer used to machine them, but my hands were greasy, dirty and smelly just from touching the first few.

Started rusting within weeks
These started rusting inside the package, which did have a hole in it. Not worth it to send them back and they will probably hold up for the intended purpose anyway, but I was disappointed.

) They worked perfectly and easily. They did not bend
I used these pins to hold down garden fabric. (For weed prevention.)They worked perfectly and easily. They did not bend. They were plenty long enough to hold the fabric down, yet short enough to be easy to insert without the need for a hammer.I was very happy with the price and quality and I would purchase these again.*I'm thinking the negative reviews were from people who thought these were camping spikes. They might not be strong enough for a tent-nor are they advertised to be.

Flimsy and Expensive
These pins were super soft and easy to bend. DO NOT BUY the 25 count pack; you can get better quality ones at Lowe’s for 1/3 of the price.
