ASTRO Gaming MixAmp Pro TR with Dolby Audio for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC & Mac

I use it to hear the sound of my PC and Xbox One X mixed together. Both systems are sending digital streams (optical on the xbox and usb on PC) and this amp makes it all sound fantastic. No delay whatsoever, even when decoding high bit streams on both platforms.There is a simple 5 pot EQ and the software allows you to keep in memory 4 different sound mixes (more or less bass, treble, etc.) . There is a button to switch between them on the device and little LEDs to show you which one is being used which is a nice touch. The software / hardware integration is solid and you don't need to run the software to use this feature. Only to set it. The device then keeps it in memory.They also give you their proprietary spacial sound decoding as its own setting but I don't like it much. I feel like it mostly washes out the sound and thins out details and makes bass frequencies soupy.It's nicely designed and has a sturdy pro-studio feel because that's exactly what it is. After using it for many months, I would highly recommended it to friends.

Awesome product from Astro! I have the A40 headset that I originally purchased for my PS4. I have since upgraded to a PS5 and use the same headset but PlayStation mix amp for my gaming. Astros have been my go to headset for my gaming. I play everything from Call of Duty, Fifa, and Forza and the mix amp is awesome. For the casual gamer, you do not need this mix amp. If you spend a good amount of time gaming it’s definitely worth the purchase! With the update of Discord on both consoles now (finally!) the mix amp is a welcome addition to my gaming setup!

My son is happy with this purchase. Makes his gaming smoother and improves sound quality in his headphones.

I love the Mixamp Pro TR! It works great with the Series X, just make sure to update the firmware through your computer first so it works right! At first it may not assign and your mic wont work, what you have to do is unplug it, put it on the PC setting, plug it into your xbox, turn on the Xbox, switch it to the Xbox Setting on the back of the device and it should assign. If it doesn't repeat these steps. Overall though a great product when you get it all setup and provides a perfect mixer for your game and chat volumes. Love this and would buy again! 10/10

update firmware and turn the side tone all the way down otherwise there’s static, audio modes won’t work on console over usb (must use an optical cable into ur monitor/tv + change Xbox settings), and for some reason it’s very quiet on startup on console only, only fix is to unplug the usb and plug it back in, good product, but pretty overpriced and shouldn’t have those issues for Xbox users

Sounds amazing with Astro A40s, my old amp broke on my astros so I bought this as a replacement and it feels like it’s even better quality than the original definitely worth the price!

At First I thought I was DOOMED after opening the package and seeing the only way this Mix amp connects to the SERIES X is through the USB connection. I connected the mix amp to my Series x with my console ALREADY ON.... the mix amp did NOTHING except for light up... *panic sets in*I took the mix amp to my PC and downloaded the *FREE Astro companion app from the Microsoft store, as soon as a plugged in the mix amp to my pc, it recognized the mix amp and queued the firmware update for it through the Astro companion app. Once the firmware was updated, I shut off my Xbox, plugged in the mix amp, and started the Xbox up, as soon as I signed in on my profile the Xbox "assigned the headset" to my profile and it works flawlessly every time.REVIEW: I've been a Astro fan for over 10 years! I've stayed with the A40 throughout it's 3 (I think) generations of the headset and I'm STILL satisfied!!Having started with just the M80 mix amp for my multiple A40 headsets on a regular controller was fine, until I purchased a new controller (Razer wolverine ultimate V1) it had it's own mix amp, and the versatility of the razer's built in mix amp was just sub-par. So I decided on the Mix Amp PRO and I'm glad I did. I'm 100% satisfied this mix amp PRO brings out the best from my A40 TR headset.

The Astro Mixamp Pro TR is a solid piece of audio kit if you are a heavy gamer, using Discord and want to add chat-mix, mic side-tone and audio equalizer tweaks to your 3.5mm headset. While the device was designed for use with an Astro matched headset, I use it with a Cooler Master MH630 with impressive results.While it comes with Dolby-audio built-in, that can be bypassed so you can use with Dolby-Atmos in Windows or DTS. Custom equalizer settings can also be saved to the device and those pre-sets can be selected/rotated through via a push button on the device. The dials are smooth to operate and there is no hum or crackle via the USB connection.The Astro Mixamp PRO TR may have a bit of a premium price, but it is cheaper than some other options such as the Sennheiser GSX1200 - so worth consideration if you are looking for devices that can also be linked for e-sports team chat as well.

Best mixamp you can get for the price. With the software you have lots of mix options that you can custom fit to the four buttons in the middle. The two dials aren’t as smooth as I thought they would turn but I wound be nitpicking at that point.

まず最初に注意点。本体につなぐケーブルはありますがヘッドセットにつなぐケーブルがないのでヘッドセットとAMPに対応する4極のケーブルが必要になります。ASTRO同士ならASTRO対応ケーブルを買えばいいのですが、アースとマイクの順が違うと面倒ですね。HALOエディションのMixAmp M80が調子悪くなってきたので、こちらに買い替えました。音質はASTROなので文句なしです。M80と比べると手軽さは落ちますが、イコライザの微調整なしの標準状態でもこっちの方が格段に音質上ですね。初期設定の４種の音質も少しずつ色合いが違ってサンプルとしては面白いです。FPSでライフルの音がだいぶ変わるので、こだわる人は調整要が必要ですが。XBOX対応版はLogitec（Logicool）が輸入してくれないみたいなので、日本語でのサポートは諦めましょう。個人購入は米アマゾンから国際発送した方がほんの少し安いですが2週間以上かかるので、すぐに欲しいなら並行輸入品を買うしかありません。

This thing is next level, I have used turtle beach chat enhancers and superhuman hearing for about a year and this thing does all of those enhancements but with more customizable tweaking I found myself playing at max volume with every old setup i ever had but this mixamp delivers more then i expected and it's a clean sound also, i can turn the volume up for intense situations so i don't miss a thing, the dial is quite nice as i can turn down chat and it doesn't unbalance the sound when you dial to either game or chat sound like most balance dials i have used in the past, you definitely get what you pay for and my only issue with the mixamp is that it doesn't have an option to use my built in headset mic that i like to use for the convenience of flipping the mic to mute, it will require an external mic which doesn't bother me too much but i didn't know beforehand, so for now I have to deal with it while i wait for one to arrive. For that i rate this 4 stars but it really is a 5 star product.
