Could have done more research and bought it sooner instead of trying to hire. Works like a dream and dust extraction is so much better than the one I hired. I did use it for leveling surface between corridor and living room and it was fast and saved me a lot of time compared to other options I tried. And it fit very well to my angle grinder

I needed to grind down some screed and this bit of kit was amazing. I tried to fit it on to my Fein angle grinder to begin with but it didn’t fit properly (typical Fein tools not being universal) so tried it on my Makita grinder and went on straight away. It comes with an attachment to fit any hoover and it worked an absolute treat. Minimal dust. Absolutely delighted with this purchase and was half the price of the one I was looking at from screwfix. Would definitely recommend. Great grinding disc too.

The plastic dust guard is not a good fit on my grinders

I needed to strip paint back on an exterior wall so it could be re-rendered using K-rend.I bought this gadget more in hope than expectation but I have to say, it really is super - especially for the relatively low price.It fitted onto my Makita GA5040R 125mm grinder in less than a minute simply by removing the existing disc guard and then tightening the supplied hose clip that secures this shroud to the grinder. I then hooked it up to my Festool extractor which was also easy as the supplied nozzle adaptor fitted the end of the Festool hose perfectly.The pics show the wall in question, the whole thing took about 10 minutes with very little dust escaping from the shroud.I now intend to give the wall a quick blast with the pressure washer and then start the re-rendering process.Excellent attachment, well worth the money in time and mess saved!

The kit included all hardware and parts to fit to my grinder.As it Is a universal attachment it did need modification to mount to my machine mart grinder.Meaning only two out of the three mounting points could be used.Did the task it needed to, which was to help reduce the dust and allow me to grind down high spots of a garage floor.

Diamond impregnated grinding wheel works well on concrete floor levelling. Had the shroud connected to an M class dust extractor, connector slipped of a couple of times, I could see dust coming out at speed.I was not looking forward to doing this job made the whole job much easier and less dust in the room.

After a long 3 hour session chipping floor tiles with an SDS hammer drill off a 3sq mtr bathroom because the previous builders had used a thinset / tile adhesive that was stronger than thor himself, I had the job of removing the rough thinset / broken tile still adhered to the subfloor. An SDS drill, chisel and hammer and floor scraper were all making super slow progress and damaging the chipboard subfloor.This tool effortlessly cleared the full 3sqmtr bathroom floor of thinset in under 30 mins, with minimal dust due to the vacuum extractor also. I rarely write reviews but this is a phenominal product and anyone who needs to remove thinset should consider this. I'm even debating making a youtube video as no one else seems to have used / reccomended one of these to do this task!

Great package deal, and value for money.I used it to get rid of tile adhesive off of some plywood flooring. The dust shroud took a bit of time to fit correctly, but there was plenty of adjustment and I managed a good fit on my Makita grinder.I did find the hoover attachment got in the way of the screw in handle of the machine, and ended up not using the handle..... No big deal.The cup grinder worked well. As other people have said, don't try and push down hard on the machine, just it's own weight will suffice while you keep it steady.Completely solves the dust problem....... Would recommend!

El disco es muy bueno, aguanta mucho y además con un aspirador la pieza cumple perfectamente su función. Incluso para uso profesional.
