Either defective, or poorly engineered.
Bought the 2-pack of these. The female ends of these adapters are so tight that I can barely get the flash drive mounted. I had to push so hard that I was afraid of breaking either the flash drive or the adapter. Although the adapters did work to transfer files, it was difficult to remove the flash drive. Will probably return these, and hope that the replacement product allows for smoother insertion/removal.Update: Received replacement item, same issue. Don't waste your money.Edit August 07, 2019: Received "replacement" product. Same problem as original purchase. Do not buy this junk!

Doesn't work with Samsung Note 8
I misplaced my regular USB-C OTG adapter for my phone and assumed that another USB-C OTG adapter that said it would work with phones would also work. I was wrong.Plugging a flash drive into it and connecting it to my phone showed no results and the drive wasn't accessible. I have a USB charging monitor that lights up and shows voltage and amperage when connected to a USB port - and it didn't light up.I found my original, conveniently enough, about an hour after this order arrived and the same flash drive and charging monitor both work correctly with it.These may work with other devices, but not with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Very poor effectiveness of product. Buy a product with a USB type c microchip instead of an adapter
The material was great but the effectiveness was horrible. Only one adapter fit successfully. I advise to buy this adapter from somewhere else because the fit is so tight that when you pull out the microchip it comes apart and half of it is stuck forever. Finally, the adapter+microchip is very long making it prime to breaking.

Small and does exactly what it's supposed to
I accidentally bought two sets of these and was going to return one but decided not to because it is really great to be able to leave it on USB devices that I want to use regularly

Not recommended at all because It is listed as 3.0 Usb but is less speed than 2.0.So please do not buy this product. It is total waste of money.Please buy 3.0 pendrive and use other OTG rather than to use this.

Don’t buy this.
The usb in port where I put my chord in barely fit and as soon as I got it in the usb c out in my computer completely just broke like it exploded. Horrible quality didn’t even get to see if it worked it broke immediately.

Build quality is substandard
This item fell into pieces upon first application.The USB portion is nice and tight and the cover slides off when trying to disconnect the adapter from the cable/device it's being used with.
