The IS Series intake system is a traditional, under hood intake system. By reducing turbulence in the pipe and providing a less restrictive flow through the high performance filter, each short ram intake system is engineered to provide improved horsepower and torque gains over the stock setup. Each system is built from 6061, T-6 aluminum alloy to ensure the lightest design possible. Most IS system is certified or pending by the California Air Resource Board and backed by Injen Technology’s limited lifetime warranty.

looks nice and works
I know several people who picked injen over other intake systems and it worked great for them, so being in the market for an intake system, i thought i would give this one a whirl. There is a lot I could say about this intake vs other intakes but I will hone in on the appearance, installation, and overall performance.First, the appearance. Appearance wise, you can't ask for any better. The welds are as good and clean as it gets, the polished aluminum pipe is nice and shiny, and the synthetic filter looks nice as well. It's most likely going to be the coolest looking thing under your hood.Second, installation. Installation was really easy. it was more difficult to remove the old air box than it was to install the injen intake system. The bracket placement, MAF hole, MAF bolt threads, tube length, and crankcase hose fitment are all completely perfect and make installation a breeze. After you get your old box out, expect to spend no more than ten minutes installing this intake. My *only* complaint about this intake kit is that the silicone coupler that connects the tube to the throttle body is slightly too large for the throttle body on my 1zzfe. Yes, it worked, and yes, I am using the one that came with mine, but if yours is like mine you will have to crank down the hose clamp a good ways to make it work. However, I have now had it installed on a daily driver for a few months now with no issues and expect no issues because silicone hose is very tough.Lastly, performance. While there is a small, yet noticeable amount of torque increase with this intake over the entire power band, gas mileage seems unaffected. It produces a nice intake tone with full throttle and you can hear a rush of air getting sucked into the engine when you quickly tap the gas that sounds similar to a BOV.

Great Product
Installed the entire kit in under an hour, took it for a test drive and was honestly afraid I was going to get pulled over by the cops because I felt like I was going fast. Lucky for me my car is a beater and I could barely do the speed limit :). seriously though, great product that gives the car a nice sound when you accelerate.

Installed was easy and sound great on my car. still testing to see what improvement it has on gas, but see a little improvement on the response time when i put gas and take off and the engine rin smooth.
