Melansay Beatiful Bow Tie Summer Beach Chiffon High Waist Maxi Skirt

Beautiful high quality skirt, worth the £20. It is very solidly made despite its floaty appearance and there is quite a lot of fabric in the skirt (which is what I was hoping as I like flowy maxis). The underskirt is slightly shorter than the chiffon top skirt which you can see if the light's behind, but it actually creates quite a nice effect. The hem is crinklier than I thought it would be, like a lettuce leaf hem. The belt is a separate length of chiffon - see photo - and it's up to you to wind it around the elastic waistband and create the look you want. I wound it around twice which made a crossover effect and left a nice length to tie into a bow. One thing to note is that the sizing does not refer to the waistband - only the length. The waist is one size fits all and you can use the belt to cinch it in if you're smaller. I'm a 5'8 UK size 14 and I ordered the XL which is 150 cm long. It just brushes the top of my feet as the picture shows. The waistband is tight but not uncomfortable. If you're more than a size 14/16 though it may not work for you.

This skirt is just so lovely. I ordered it for a wedding I'm attending. I chose the baby pink one first and orders it, but then changed my mind and ordered the deep red one. I couldn't cancel my order and I can't send it back, but they did offer me a full refund, which is very kind considering it was my own fault.The dress its self is beautiful. It's a heavy material with a floaty see through fabric on the top and underneath is the thick fabric. It feels so much more expensive than it really is. It fits lovely. Stretchy at the waist and when choosing the sizes, it means the length. I'm 5ft 7 and when having them sit on my waist the medium one doesn't quit touch the floor- about 3 inches off, but the other large one I ordered sits on my waist and drops to the floor, plus a little extra. This is without any heels on.I would definitely recommend this skirt. It's feels so nice. I really don't even mind if I don't get my refund, because they would be so nice to wear throughout summer.

Bought for my baby's dedication. The skirt is very long, I had low heels on which helped it not to drag on the floor and wore it as a high waisted skirt. This is very full and flows so nicely, it is a bit see through even with the underskirt it has. I will definitely get a few more of these in different colours

Love this maxi skirt, nice soft fabric ideal for Weddings, Church, Christening, Casual, dressed up. Very long maxi skirt you have to be 5.7” upwards in height.

It’s a really good skirt. More dark grey than green/ grey.I am a size 14 /16 and got the Biggest size but the waistband is too small and doesn’t really suit a fuller figure so had to send back. It you are tall and slender this skirt is great

Excellent skirt can’t find anything else that was exactly what I wanted. Please bring it out in white! Or can I order it in white separately?
