Schallen 16" Electric Oscillating Floor Standing Tall Pedestal Air Cooling Fan (White) [Energy Class A+]

Having recently purchased this fan, I can say I have could not be happier. It is by no means perfect, but for the price I found it to be wonderful. As I live in an area with a lot of nighttime noise and traffic, sleeping with the window open is impossible; however, with this fan I have found no need for that this year. I have personally slept every night with the fan on its lowest setting, which provides plenty of cool air due to the large size of the fan. It is very quiet (at least comparative to previous fans) and I currently have it positioned next to the bed yet sleep soundly all night. It has made the summer heat bearable and I am very glad I bought it.Only criticisms I can offer is that the foot supports are a little weak due to being made of a cheap plastic, but if you intend to position it on a flat surface this shouldn't offer any issue. The fan has three settings all of which are relatively quiet.Overall, it's an ideal fan if you're looking for something cheap and simple - it quickly and easily cools the air even on the lowest setting and is ideal for anyone looking for a fan to run at night over the summer.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this as my other fan isnt very powerful and i have to sleep with a fan on every night.It arrived a day early on the hottest day of the year (which i was so happy about).Its easy to assemble.It is sturdy but its light enough to be able to move around easily.Its also not too noisy which is a plus.Recommended to anyone and it was a bargain price.My mum ended up buying one too and is also very pleased with it.

Easy to put together, has 3 fan settings that have noticeable differences and while you can hear it be on, it's not loud at all. My PC microphone is very sensitive and it does not pick up the fan while it's right next to me almost blowing into my face.The metal support '+' legs are a weak, thin metal and can bend easy, though not to the point of ever being an issue, you can just bend it back into place if it gets knocked or stepped on. - The rest of the fan is very sturdy and easy to adjust.

Bought as a replacement for a fan I'd had for years but had gone brittle and the blades shattered. This is great and does the job well. Fairly quiet.

Bad quality

Great quality, very easy to assemble and is very effecient at cooling the air. Very happy with purchase.

This fan is not as sturdy as the price tag suggests. The cruciform feet are constructed out of the thinnest metal. If the metal was any thinner the feet of the fan would probably buckle.The fan works fine, moves the air around quite well and isn’t too noisy while it is doing it. It is fairly compact, and tall enough to be at head height for the average seated human, but whoever decided to make it out of a material that has all the rigidity of very thick kitchen foil, certainly was thinking about the profit margins. I exaggerate, of course, but only a little. There is a very fiddly tiny screw that the designers think is suitable for people to secure the two sides of the grill to each other, but I decided not to bother after 3 minutes of trying to line up the holes that were in need of more accuracy at the construction stage, the 4mm long 2mm wise screw disappeared into the rug and was never seen again. The fan works fine without it.I imagine if the was sold for half the price I paid for it, I would be very happy with it.But, it’s just a fan. I live in northern England, we only get 6 hot days a year on average. And it stops me melting. So. It is fine really.

Good for the price. Doesn’t make too much sound. Has different settings. Only negative would be that the head of the fan keeps dropping down despite tightening the screws.
