I had to break them in half since my dogs a small.They are supposed to taste good..but some of my dogs wouldn't touch them I had to wrap it in a small piece of cheese. Then again, my dogs can be finicky.Constant use will he'll protect against fleas...but I would recommend using other flea remedies as well.The fleas the past few years are becoming more resistant to flea killers.I ended up buying pure liquid garlic & using that instead.look up natural flea killers for dogs I think it was a large spray bottle that cost around 16.00.it goes by a certain amount of squirts per weight of the dog.it is also great to spray on our food as well hope this helps!
