Maui Babe Reef Safe SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion 8 oz

I’m a bit of a lobster even when I’m outside for a short period of time, and I’m very fair skinned. I gave this a try because I love the Maui babe browning lotion. I slathered it on the upper half of my body and as you can see I obviously missed my legs. I just wanted to show the comparison between my burnt thigh and still pale arm, which had the same time of exposure, in full sun. My shoulders typically show red in about ten minutes of being in the sun but this stuff was magic and prevented that. I also love that it’s a physical sunblock, which tends to be better for blocking out the UV rays instead of absorbing then emitting them like a chemical. It’s also reef safe for the ocean!!

This sunscreen smells AWESOME - hints of pineapple and coconut, so summer-like and refreshing. Smooth, creamy application - doesn't feel like a sunscreen, but does feel like an easily-absorbed lotion. Having read other reviews, I'm not sure where people are getting the idea that this product differs from past orders. Others have stated that it isn't smooth (not true) and that it has somehow changed from its past formula (I can't detect a difference from past use). I'm thinking possibly there is a mix up about the browning lotion produced by this company and THIS product, the sunscreen. Anyway, I love this sunscreen and wear it on exposed skin year round in my New York location. Smells great, I don't break out from using it, and it gives me that extra shield from the sun's damaging rays. I look forward to smoothing it on after my morning shower. Just a nice, lightly fragrant lotion that I enjoy using, with the added benefit of excellent sun protection.

If it’s supposed to have a scent to it, it wasn’t there. It smelled like super strong sunscreen. Let me tell you, it was so thick it was hard to spread. Not worth the hype at all.

I love this I bought it because my cousin goes to Maui Hawaii every year for her anniversary I can't do that but she recommended this product so I tried it I love it the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when I open it a lot of the product squirts out the top otherwise it's wonderful

I've been using this product along w the browning lotion since I visited Maui several years ago! You don't burn, you tan, I've turned several people on to this product after them being disappointed w other products that burned them, and full of dyes and unnatural ingredients. This product is family owned & they provide fabulous customer service! If you want just a little color or more use the 30 sun block then apply the browning lotion, you'll be pleased with the results. I haven't used anything else since finding this gem, no comparison to what's sold in the stores & a little goes a long way! Just make sure you purchase product by Maui Babe & they now sell this product on their website as well as amazon.

This is hands down my favorite sunscreen and I’ve tried more than I’d like to admit. I live on the beach and I’m constantly in the sun. Maui babe is my go to. It smells amazing, it’s a coconut scent that takes you immediately to the tropics. It has never irritated my super sensitive skin and it rubs in great. It’s the only sunscreen I will use on my body! You won’t be disappointed!

I really wanted to LOVE this - being it's Hawaiian and all. I find it leaves me a little tacky/sticky and I don't love the smell. In my opinion a better lotion is available from Amazon (Golden Star Beauty Tan Extending Lotion. MUCH better smell and feel. again, just my opinion). Maui Babe has been my stuff ever since the days where you could only get on the island. I remember giving my friends money to bring some back every time they went. Then I found it in BB&B, then was thrilled to see it on Amazon! I love how it gives protection while still letting you get bronzed even with 30 spf.
