To be fair I'm an adult so it probably isn't marketed for me, but I was looking for a quick way to cool off. Once you connect the hose and turn it on, it inflates on its own rather quickly. This is where being an adult is interesting. Even with my hose on full blast the water comes up to about my knees. Perfect if you're a little one, but not so perfect for me. Don't get me wrong I knew it was for kids so I'm not talking bad about it, just wanted to let others know. What I did was get a lawn chair and put it in the middle and just sat and relaxed for a few minutes. It's great for that!Once you're done playing it comes with an adapter that helps you drain the water out quickly.All in all, it's what I expected and I hope to get lots of use out of it.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to set up and within minutes of turning on the water you have fun fountains all around the splash pad! You do have to angle the sides so that the water flows onto the pad rather than outward but with that minor adjustment it’s perfect. It’s easy to put away too.

It is not the most expensive and yes, there is a bit of a smell, but beyond that Mac loves it!! She likes a swimming pool but not water coming from above, but she took to this very well because the water doesn't sprout in a gush. She's so particular but she loves it. It is easy to set up and since she is the 'sprinkle' type, a low setting of water is perfect for her. This is a less expensive item, but well received. Reviewers also said that it can tear up easily if you have more rough kids. I figured that if by chance something happened to it, it was reasonably priced, so I would just buy another one. So far, the reviews measure up to the product.

AWFUL chemical smell!!! It was so bad that we could even smell it in the house when it was outside. I tried putting it in a large bucket and washing it off with dish soap still, but that didn’t even work. I tried running it for about 10 minutes and the whole house still smells like paint thinner. I eventually threw it away because I don’t want my kids running through toxic chemicals. They were so upset because they were excited to play in the splash pad. Not only is there a super super strong chemical smell that burns the nostrils ( even after a month out of packaging, 2 washes, 1 use)... Ugh..... But where the hose connects to the play mat it is a cheap plastic holder on the play mat and it leaks more water out there than it pushes into the play mat. The water only got 2 feet off the ground which my daughter is taller than that. Pretty cheap and lame.Also after washing it 2 times and letting my daughter play in it. I had to give her a bath afterward because her body, hair, and bathing suit smelled sooo strongly of chemicals it was pretty intolerable.Never again.

Great buy for money, big size. Smells very strongly when you open it, gave us all a headache inside. But aired it out and all is fine. Also gets super slippery, just be ready for kids to fall on their butts but my 3 year old loves that!

Exactly what I was looking for!! I bought this for my 4 and 6 year old kids because they’re too small for a slip n’ slide. They love to run across the grass and jump slide into this!! But the best thing is that it holds enough water in the center for them to splash around and “swim” in, which means it’s deep enough for them to lay on their bellies and splash. The sprinklers turn inward and fill about 3 inches deep. They love it! We’ve not used it a few times so I can’t really say anything yet about durability but I will say that for the price, if this craps out in only a few months, I’m ok buying a second one!!
